I personally doubt it is like that. When you got a membership you have an activated account there, from there it is renew and/or recurring, even if it expires at some time after that its a manual renew membership.

But this has to be tested of course after 1 month when the first membership expires or the Verge Devs give some inside knowledge, but by logic it would at the current state not be possible to renew with verge, no matter if expired, manually or whatever.

The only option right now would be to make each time a new account with a new email adress to use verge.

 VERGE needs to brand it's untraceable technology all those VC backed coins listed over VC backed shapeshift.io have fancy names for the simple stuff they supposedly do (some have nothing at all on them).  used to mine this coin scrypt with a 3x7950 gpu rig, but by about june of last year, the asics severely outweighed me so i turned my rig into a gaming pc Wink But i will un game that rig and mine x11 or x15 or something now and support the network hash again

I think it was the act of traders who tried to do a high selling to drop the price low and many fuds are there who tried to spread negative news about the coin as they know that verge is now adopted by the biggest industry of internet and that type of partnership is not even adopted by bitcoin so verge is going to be another bitcoin and this community will be the new rich people on the earth. A new rank of wealthy people are going to be prepared and those who sold will then regret as like those who sold bitcoin in the early times.
