What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?

I knew bitcoin from the darknet with Tor (if you know what I mean). Wondering whether it has any actual use legally, in the real world.
From most what I see, everyone in this forum use bitcoin to enforce non-reversible and secure transaction, unlike paypal. Moreover, it is not too much of a hassle.

The same experience knowing bitcoins exist and use on Darknet to buy on things ,hire and all of the illegals that has been banned are found . This forum helps a lot especially to the beginers . I am late to know this bitcoins forum way back 2015 when i am starting hardworking in faucets.
Yes,bitcoins is fast ,secure and have less fees shen sending money something a good thing for the peoples like us knowingly that its not only use to the darknets money or mode of payment there.

At first, all i know is i need btc wallet for the investment program that i want to join in, then later on my friend teach me how bitcoin works and how to use it. that first investment is also my first time to be scammed. but because of that i learned not to trust easily.

My experience with bitcoin when i first started is that, it went smooth to rough experience.  First when i first come in bitcoin scene,, the price of BTC is somewhere around 800-900 USD,  Since  i started collecting bitcoin on giveaways and bounties, converting a small amount gives me enough USD.  Then the  forum forbid giveaway the same time bitcoin start to fall to sub 300  USD,  So one of my source of  BTC  is cut then, I need to do twice the  work to get what I am earning.

My experience when first using bitcoin, when prices are in the $1000 range. I am interested in bitcoin and try to get it, it was very difficult. I tried to get just from faucet. I even difficult to get 0.001 within a week. until at last there was a giveaway of stellar. I get a result that is high enough. then I grow it on the advice of my friends, and I am trying to invest on HYIP sites(I really do not know about hyip investment sites). after investment, I lost in one day. I feel sad and upset, I even almost desperate to earn bitcoin again. but until finally I came back looking for bitcoin and my friend gave capital, and I use it to trade, to this day I still do the trade.

Back when I just discovered bitcoin. I Often use my time on faucets and my earning average is really low. So ya, Faucets are a waste of time  unless you have some referals.

When I first started, similar to you, I wasn't aware of how Bitcoin wallets, private keys and addresses were generated. I was also astonished by the various terminologies like Blockchain, blocks and how Bitcoin transactions were not irreversible. I used to be very confused with how transactions were confirmed, and was always confused between miners and those who ran nodes. Over time I started learning most of it from Bitcoin wiki's and on reddit.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?

Yes even I have kept myself away from cloud mining and gambling sites as I am aware how hard it takes to earn them and very few minutes in loosing them, as saving them is more important for me.

I remembered when I started here in bitcoin world, I am so happy to receive free bitcoin even it is only 0.000003 satoshi. That was my first week here and I'm in the process of learning in bitcoin. But as time goes by I'm getting in level up stage in bitcoin. Even now  I'm still continue learning in crypto currency.

When i started with bitcoin, the first experience i had been  encounter was won in gambling site. That experienced bring me to addiction in gambling. We  Back 2years ago, that time i thought that bitcoin is nothing and worthless. I thought that playing a gambling with bitcoin is just for fun.. Until years goes by and i realized that bitcoin is real ,and withdrawable into real money. Its so sad that its too late for me to realize the real presence of btc. Yes even I started my journey from faucets as I was looking to earn them for free but after spending some time with it I came to know other ways to earn bitcoins and I started to earn from signature campaign.
