I have an IQ of 153, and I'm heavily religious and a true far-right believer. Also, they're not really actualised.
(lemme guess, was it a russian online iq test??) No, I do not believe in those bullshits that are thrown all over the net. This has been found a genuine test.

Atheism and IQHigh IQ is usually regarded by those that possess it as an unmitigated good. Those gifted with superior intellect are not only smarter, they are also taller, healthier, and more athletic than average. In his 1920 study on high IQ children Lewis Terman noted that despite these advantages high IQ is not always beneficial. He found that the very brightest often grew up maladjusted in some way suffering from anxiety, depression, personality disorder, or nervous breakdowns. In Mensa Magazine Bruce G Charlton posited three fundamental disadvantages of high IQ . Charlton’s triad: 1) Socialism 2) Atheism 3) Infertility Charlton argued that IQ is associated with a tendency to blindly embrace big government, a rejection of religious teachings, and ultimately a declining fertility Bullshiot. Nothing in the blog post you link to mentions governments. How much else of your wordy presentation here is also of your fevered imaginings?

So, along with high IQ comes critical thinking skills... 1) Socialism is a no-brainer for intelligent people - it just makes sense to help those less fortunate than yourself 2) Atheism is a no-brainer for intelligent people - it just makes sense... 3) Intelligent parents have no need to produce dozens of brainwashed children... 1-2 smart children are better than 6 stupid ones destined for welfare Newsflash: Atheists are a minority... you cannot blame the world's problems on 3% of the population... try blaming the 97% (religion) for your problems Why blame the Mormons, and Jews and Atheists for all of your problems? Why do religious people always blame and hate everyone?I deny your claim about socialism Moloch. I'm a bit sad, I thought you were an intelligent lad :-/ No worries, I was raised in America too... I fully understand how the American education system demonizes that word... it's not your fault I'm a christian and I don't hate atheists. I can't actually remember when was the last time I felt hate, probably back when I was still an atheist and slave to my emotions like moloch is today Glad religion worked for you to help you overcome issues you had. But now you are delusional, so keep those delusions to yourself.

Nothing in the blog post you link to mentions governments. How much else of your wordy presentation here is also of your fevered imaginings? +1 I'm an Atheist and an Anarchist/Libertarian. I don't trust government because it is made up by a group of elected idiots, not experts in given fields. For example a head of USDA is a lawyer. Nothing against lawyers, but I'd prefer someone with masters or PhD in agriculture in that position. I don't see how IQ is related to infertility. Having less children so that you can send them to Yale or Harvard is not the same as infertility. You can be quite fertile and still decide not to have children. The choice not to reproduce like rabbits is not the same as infertility. Atheists might care more about others, and value life in general more than religious people because we know humans only got one life, and once we are dead, well, we are dead. So we spend each day like it is our last. Religious people don't care much about others, especially if the other people believe in different God(s), or disagree with them on how to pray, conduct masses, dress or how to interpret that fucked up, bronze age book. So Atheists in general would lean more towards ideas of equality, helping those in need, anti-war movements etc. There are probably exceptions. Religious people are intolerant of others and support a bronze age moral code. They generally support everything the Bible supports or condones such as wars, killing, rape, slavery, cannibalism, human sacrifices etc.

I had an IQ of 160 once upon a time. It's probably about 100 less now. I regard the religious as mentally ill. I have zero desire to procreate and think the world's a fuckhole. Hey, I guess you're right.
Mental illness and IQ don't necessarily correlate. And I don't believe you about the 160 IQ, sir. Not at all. However I have been known to be wrong in the past.

Nothing in the blog post you link to mentions governments. How much else of your wordy presentation here is also of your fevered imaginings? The actual argument presented on that blog was that high IQ individuals are more likely to embrace socialism. This post is not about big government or socialism but since you brought it up here are Mr. Charlton musings on the matter. 1. Socialism
Higher IQ is probably associated with socialism via the personality trait called Openness-to-experience, which is modestly but significantly correlated with IQ. (To be more exact, left wing political views and voting patterns are characteristic of the highest and lowest IQ groups – the elite and the underclass - and right wingers tend to be in the mid-range.)
Openness summarizes such attributes as imagination, aesthetic sensitivity, preference for variety and intellectual curiosity – it also (among high IQ people in Western societies) predicts left-wing political views. Sidis was an extreme socialist, who received a prison sentence for participating in a May Day parade which became a riot (in the event, he ‘served his time’ in a sanatorium).
Whether socialism leads to big government is certainly debatable and since that debate is irrelevant to this thread I have replaced the word big government with socialism in the OP I would encourage you to go through all of my links with a similar critical eye. I have taken pains to present empiric data as objectively as possible but do not claim to be perfect.

"Probable association" != "Blind embrace". That leads me to wonder what else you changed to suit your agenda. Edit: You mention religions and sin, but the only mention of atheism is at the start when you link a high IQ to both atheism and infertility. So, you've written a post about the evils of a high IQ, and the benefits of religions and not sinning. I have yet to see that you've shown that "Atheism is poison".

Those gifted with superior intellect are not only smarter, they are also taller, healthier, and more athletic than average.
Let's start with your first claim You are claiming that people with high IQ are also taller, healthier, and more athletic Where the hell did you get that idea? The original studies are old and to my knowledge not available online but a summary can be found here. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_TermanTerman found his answers in his longitudinal study on gifted children: Genetic Studies of Genius.[12] Initiated in 1921, the Genetic Studies of Genius was from the outset a long-term study of gifted children. Published in five volumes, Terman followed children with extremely high IQ in childhood throughout their lives. The fifth volume examined the children in a 35 year follow-up, and looked at the gifted group during mid-life.[13]
Genetic Studies of Genius revealed that gifted and genius children were in at least as good as average health and had normal personalities. Few of them demonstrated the previously-held negative stereotypes of gifted children. He found that gifted children did not fit the existing stereotypes often associated with them: they were not weak and sickly social misfits, but in fact were generally taller, in better health, better developed physically, and better adapted socially than other children. The children included in his studies were colloquially referred to as "Termites".[14] The gifted children thrived both socially and academically. In relationships, they were a less likely to divorce.[6] Additionally, those in the gifted group were generally successful in their careers: Many received awards recognizing their achievements. Though many of the children (affectionately known as “Termites” [6]) reached exceptional heights in adulthood, not all did. Terman explored the causes of obvious talent not being realized, exploring personal obstacles, education, and lack of opportunity as causes.[9]

You based it on the opinion of a single person from 100 years ago... Seems legit I'll concede the point that certain athletics have a link to intelligence... You don't see a lot of stupid quarterbacks in football... Quarterbacks need to think quickly, so they will always be intelligent... But, you can be a dumbass linebacker all day Intelligent people often choose to not be athletic, and focus on being a nerd/geek instead... Jocks are not known for their intelligence buddy Health just means taking care of yourself, so yeah, that's a gimme for smart people Remind me again why you are on an internet forum about Bitcoin and technology... Bashing smart people?
