Well well well , it seems that Aston Martin are really targeting that top 10 with both drivers even from qualifiers. Besides this , I've just read that Aston Martin still has the biggest improvement on the car but also on the important pieces that they are currently developing so only great news are coming from AM lately. I'm a huge fan of them and next weekend they should be in Bucharest for a quick fan show with their F1 car...most likely the testing one from previous year.

There is still no official confirmation, but everyone is leaning towards this version. But in fact, this is unlikely to prevent Verstappen from winning again and, given the next start from the depths of the peloton, this will be another humiliation for all other teams. Although the bookmakers do not consider him a favorite now, his odds are not much different from those of Leclerc:

Leclerc, Charles - 2.35

Verstappen, Max - 3.00

Hamilton, Lewis - 4.00

Perez, Sergio - 10.90

According to the source above, the reason why Verstappen was called to pit on his last attempt was really due to running out of fuel. But he seemed really angry with this situation because he was having a really great lap. As Verstappen also remained on the track instead of entering pit before, it was normal to see this kind of a problem at the end. The other drivers must be really lucky not to have this issue.

This is a really disadvantageous start for Verstappen at the 8th position. Depending on the weather conditions this might be a really interesting race. Verstappen can still climb the positions in a few laps the most easily. But if we see heavy rain and the track doesn't dry up quickly then it is probable to see surprising results also. This might be a big chance for Leclerc to win after taking the pole but I'm still favouring Verstappen highly for now.

They already confirmed it. Race engineers should have taken their time doing the preparations and just let the man drive according to his capabilities. Verstappen was clearly upset on the last minute decision to pit but it's either lose the pole position or take the penalty. Either way, it's still a great drive from him, but it could even be better had he not been limited by his car's fuel and may even take the pole position.

He's gotta put in more work and effort if he wants to stay in a very comfortable position that's for sure, thanks to this unlucky event that happened.

Verstappen has everything in his control,it all depends by him and not anyone else,even if does not become World Champion today is not the end of the world because most probably at the next GP if he does not screw up today or the rain which is expected does not hinder his race,he will be champion in the next GP most likely.Ferrari is not to be trusted in race strategies and when rain will be present it may make it even more evident the mistakes that they can make.I think though that in this track Leclerc has real chances to win if he manages to get away in the beginning and the Ferrari strategy does not make him lose the race like in Monza.

So Russel had indeed a problem with the engine even during the qualifiers because it looked like he cannot use it's full power of the engine and it's good that they decide it to change it here as Russel could still get into top 10 today with a bit of luck and a safety car in his favor.

I also hope that Leclerc will win this one and Vettel will somehow manage to get top 6 in his last race in Singapore.

This can be a bad move,the more they waited in Belgium last year the more the rain intensified,if they start when they should 26 minutes from now there is a chance we see some 20-25 laps of a race and if the heavy rain brings the red flag at least we will know we had some decent racing not like Belgium last year which lasted only two laps.

Of course I am hoping for a full race and hoping that the move is the correct one but anytime we have had delay we have not seen a good race.

I am seeing it live now but the track is wet yeah but surely won't get dry if only the Safety Car keeps racing in there,I am sure that if we start the race normally the track will dry itself much quicker.That standing water won't go away,the commissars are doing a great job trying to shift the water away but I think it can't be done completely.Spectacle is guaranteed if we start to race in the official 2 PM European time but even 30 minutes later I don't think much will change for the better.As always F1 is becoming more and more boring in tracks where rain is there.I remember the good old days of 1980-1990 where races were held in much more difficult conditions than these.

The race has finally started! We had to wait for around an hour to see the race starting. The track is still not dry.

Perez had a wonderful start by a better reaction than Leclerc and took the lead on the start straight. Sainz also started better than Hamilton and overtook him nicely. Verstappen was one of the losers of the start as he lost four positions already. But he's already started to climb to the top and he is in 9th position currently. I don't think that Perez will be able to keep Leclerc behind too long. But keeping him like that until Verstappen catches up with Leclerc very much would be enough for Perez. I still think that the winner will be Verstappen. But if we see heavy rain again then we'd better be open for surprises.

You know how much Hamilton loves this kind of conditions. Maybe he might find a way to benefit from it.

What happened today in the Buriram Thailand MotoGP race was really unexpected because all the riders had to wade through the race in wet track conditions.
And a very extraordinary result was obtained by Miguel Oliveira who was able to win the race after starting the race from 11th position. This means that he was able to overtake the ten riders in front of him until the end of the race.

And the thing that is very unfortunate is for Fabio Quartararo who finished without points in this race so that the difference in points in the standings became 2 units with Pecco Bagnaia because he was able to finish in 3rd place.

Checo Perez won the GP but again both RBR cheated today.

Yeah, Perez has been under investigation due to safety car infringement. But I don't know if he'd get a time penalty that is big enough for Leclerc to take the lead. I still don't see any update about the investigation though so let's see what will happen. Whatever result we have from that, I believe that Perez deserved the win from the beginning to the end.

Leclerc must be angry with himself now because he wasted a huge opportunity after getting so close to Perez to overtake him thanks to DRS as well. Leclerc had a big problem on controlling the car at one point and he shouldn't have made that mistake in a critical moment. This was another race he started in pole position but gave up the lead after.
