If you mean the rules on incentivizing clicking ads, it's not listed on either the FAQ or ToS that you can't do that. However, I would suggest checking with arsenische before doing so.

If you want to do that, you would have to split the funds yourself I believe. I don't think that a-ads supports revenue sharing like that by default.

We don't have any specific rules for publishers, but we try to make our money distribution algorithm more or less fair. There is probably no much sense to encourage anybody to click your ad unit since we don't pay per click. Just make sure that:
1) your ad unit code can be detected by our script on the specified URL
2) your ad unit generates unique impressions that come from the same domain
3) if you have clicks - most of them are human and reach the advertisers' sites
4) your ad unit is visible and has a reasonable CTR

If your visitors click ads but don't eventually reach the advertisers' sites, then your ad unit might be considered a poor traffic source and earn peanuts.

As for revenue sharing, you can make 2 ad units for the same page that withdraw to different bitcoin addresses. E. g. ad unit A could generate income for the lottery, and ad unit B - to your wallet.

You could display ad unit A 90% of time and ad unit B 10% of time. Or you could display both of them 100% of time, but 90% of time ad unit A would be displayed first, and 10% of time ad unit B would be displayed first (ad unit that loads first gets most of the unique impressions).

That is a good way of doing it because it is transparent. Anybody can refresh the page and collect the stats about percentage of ad units display, and anybody can check the ad unit's financial stats since our service is transparent. So the money collection part of your lottery would be more or less verifiable.

This isn't the place to talk about competitor's services, though very few ad services allow incentivizing user's clicking on ads and I wouldn't suggest trying it.
Also, the best paying for me personally is a-ads, though that may be because I have been using it for the longest.

What do you mean with this: "2) your ad unit generates unique impressions that come from the same domain" ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Could i create one ad unit and place it 2x on the same page?

I mean that you can use same ad unit on multiple pages of your site (as long as its domain matches the domain name of the URL specified upon ad unit creation).

For example if you create an ad unit with URL: http://example.org/welcome.html, then you can use it on any pages of example.org domain (but it must be present on the  welcome.html page as well). If you embed it to some other domain, then impressions from that other domain won't be counted as unique.

Hey there. I use your service in my blogs. Thank you for your service.

But I've noticed that even though I've got "No active campaigns for this ad unit" status for both pages (each with it's own ad unit), both pages have been showing ads:

http://oi67.tinypic.com/s2xz6f.jpg

http://oi64.tinypic.com/kaflgn.jpg

http://oi66.tinypic.com/10mm13d.jpg

http://oi67.tinypic.com/289labm.jpg

I wonder if it is a bug, because the ads are being shown, but I receive none of the respective payments.

Please, have a look at it for me.

Thank you again.

hello a question, how many ads, per page?

AFAIK, only one of your ads (the first one exposed per user to be loaded) will be paied. But there's no restriction to the number of adds you put on a page.

Hi, thanks for your question. That is probably due to the lack of the unique traffic. We are not pay-per-click or pay-per-impression network, but when there is no unique traffic, your don't get a share of the advertising budgets. We display free affiliate ads because it is the last resort to monetize your traffic. Affiliate rewards are currently ~4% of all earnings.

Is the CPM limit good for anything?

Because whenever it's activated, it eats my balance heavily, and I don't get better CMP at all.

I thoght the CPM limit serves as a shield to not pay for ultra costly CMP on certain sites. So if the CMP average is like 0.001/ M , then if I set the CPM limit to 0.005/M i will avoid paying for sites that have like 0.1BTC CPM.

However even if the average is 0.001 BTC, if I set the limit it to like 0.005 , I get massively bad traffic and very expensive.

How does this happen? Any tips?

How can I get less clicks , if I disable the very expensive CPM?

Is that feature broken or bugged?

Thanks for your question. Frankly speaking it is not easy to answer this question, the system is definitely far from being perfect, sorry for this.

Our CPM estimates are based on the globally unique impressions because it is harder to manipulate them (one IP address can't generate more than 1 unique impression per 24 hours in the scope of the whole network). According to our public stats, only ~1 impression out of ~46 is counted as unique (while for impressions this ratio is 1:2).

Some sites generate a lot of non-unique impressions (and unique clicks), but amount of unique impressions is low and thus CPM (as calculated by our system) is high.

By filtering them out you increase the amount of unique impressions you can get for the same money, but it doesn't necessarily mean that amount of non-unique impressions and unique clicks will increase.

Moreover, we have captchas to filter out fake clicks. So if you concentrate your advertising budgets on the cheap traffic sources, you might get a lot of impressions but less clicks.
