The mining is becoming too expensive and none profitable.
If it wasn't profitable the miners would not mine. It is profitable, maybe not for you and me, but for some people. That is simply not true. Me also i dont see mining is profitable for these days dificulty is to high. And for mining your electric bill is more expensive than your profit in mining thats why i cannot advise tpoo mine now of these days. But try to ask in alt coin theres someone still earning in mining there using solar. Indeed for you and me could mining is no longer give many profit, moreover while the price of bitcoin goes down deeply even you can say close to 'die', it is very big problem for miners. Maybe trading or join signatures campaign are better to do. |

The time when miners stopped mining that time it would die and trust me it would NEVER happen  What arguments do you have for that (false) claim? miners stopped to mining is really possible when they think mining bitcoin isn't giving profit anymore because of halving,or bitcoin price's decrease ,anything can happen on this world Yeah anything is possible with bitcoin, but I don't think that bitcoin will die so easily as it is growing at a moment and it will grow more in future when majority of people will start using it. |

Mining is profitable, therefore no one would mine. If some people think it's not profitable, the difficulty will drop, and some other people in some other place with a better ratio of electricity/cost will take advantage of the decreased difficulty to start a mining business... Bitcoin network will always adapt, it's a free market.
No other coin is anywhere near being competition to Bitcoin, so sit down and wait because it's not going to die anytime soon.
Plus some people in certain parts of the world can rig up (possibly illegally) ways to get free electricity. Mining is a long way away from being stopped due to cost or low profitability. People will always fing a way, probably until all 21 million coins are mined. |

users of bitcoin number are growing day by day so bitcoin will never die, the price will get higer too and one day it will be used in business and then it will replace the fiat so accept this idea and try to earn bitcoin. :p you will need it in the future.

I don't think it'll ever really die out. The collectors retro value will still keep it in modern cryptocurrency trading platforms more or less forever.

The Simple answer to this question.."When is Bitcoins going to die?" is never.
I am saying this because you can see the journey of bitcoin and it has grown like no other currency. The Current value also suggests that it is here to stay for long.

I think bitcoin will never die, because even in the worst scenarios where bitcoin could be worth $0.01 again, always there will be romantic bitcoiners exchanging it to remember its lost glory, because bitcoin has become an iconic currency, the historic, legendary and revolutionary first real and functional cryptocurrency.

I think bitcoin will never die, because even in the worst scenarios where bitcoin could be worth $0.01 again, always there will be romantic bitcoiners exchanging it to remember its lost glory, because bitcoin has become an iconic currency, the historic, legendary and revolutionary first real and functional cryptocurrency.
yes its might right,bitcoin will never die,but have you think that someday bitcoin will replaced by something better?just like other crypto currency with better development and price,will you say bitcoin wtill alive? |

Bitcoin is decentralised. So it is only as strong as it's users. Bitcoin has a huge userbase. The only way that bitcoin could die is if bitcoin is all of a sudden not used by all of us.

Yes and it gain more and more popularity to people globally and their so many of us using it now theirs no way bitcoin could die at this stat. And its regaining more power to price will rise. All i can say is no one can tell its fate and if mass selling of coin or there are no user of it i can tell bitcoin is die. |

Well, that is not the only way. A 51% attack would quickly destroy bitcoin as well. It does seem unlikely, based on the huge hashing power, but you can't be sure. |

Another problems is that there is only a few miners left controlled by a few making them controlling moondollars. It's no longer the currency of the people but a currency of the few rich companies that runs the show.....but for how long can the continue?
I have been looking at Rimbit instead since it is premined and therefore don't need the middleman with the expensive hardware for transaction validation. Instead the validation is done by the wallet's running on peoples computers. As I see it it's a currency for the people and it will stay that way. Sadly it's still fairly unknown.
Time will show how long moondollars survive but my guess is not more than 3 years......please challenge that statement with serious arguments.
we can't really say when it will die, but i don't think that it will die in next 20 years atleast or even more, to see a dead bitcoin, price should fall to 10$ or even less, then there will be no buyers/users and bitcoin will die, but price rises now and it's pretty high, so i don't think that it will die anytime soon |

As we know bitcoin can't be owned as they are being not being controlled by someone. At the future , there will be some phenomena that will beat bitcoin on the future as everything can possible to happen. Let say ETH or Litecoin or other unexpected altcoin will take over bitcoin position .
If this really happen, it will bring negative impact for company that use BTC as their transaction platform

Why do you want it to die? Are you not profiting well from the good movement of bitcoin.
If big investors will stay then it will not be easy to take it down. I think they are the one holding the death of butcoin. If they got a lot of investment here they will not let it be taken down without a fight.

Well sure bitcoin have some things to changes before the community crashes the price once again and start loose faith at bitcoin.But to die and kill bitcoin i believe only us can make that with the miners together at once,but why we would kill a system that generates money to all?
I think its in our hand to kill bitcoin but all traders i think they can't allow to kill bitcoin.. and its very impossible to happen this in bitcoin Bitcoin is growing day by day and year by year and many stores in some country accepting bitcoin as payment so thats impossible. yeah all the possibilities there are in the hands of users not only the traders or miners only but all users. if they want to bitcoin to die. bitcoin will certainly die for all users leave bitcoin but I agree what you say ronaldinho. Not only big investors everyone knows that bitcoin has no death because it is providing life (means some earning) to the people using it. So the people won't leave it so easily. |

Not only big investors everyone knows that bitcoin has no death because it is providing life (means some earning) to the people using it. So the people won't leave it so easily. True believers of bitcoin will never leave bitcoin, as people who have faith in it will continue to follow it even if the price drops extremely. |
