Well, obviously we are believers and don't think that bitcoin will ever die. But, who can know the future, what may happen in next 50, 100, 500, 1 000 years? It's very possible that someone will find better, more advance technology in the future which will replace Bitcoin. Still remember Nokia, or Netscape? Technology changing very quickly so we don't know what can happen in the future with Bitcoin.
Sill remember tcp/ip? Yes you do. Same will be for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a protocol, not some software or phone. Protocols can adapt and keep evolving. Bitcoin will live a longer life than all of us combined.

Why bitcoin isn't going to die? Because many persons have invested millions and the darkweb is more vivid than ever nowadays with dark markets popping out almost everyday, number of BTC transactions there is increasing everyday, so no Bitcoin isn't going to die in at least 10-20 years but for me it will never die.
Bitcoin isn't going to die as far as i know bitcoin has a big potencial when it comes to our economy cause many people are using bitclin too in darkweb and in USA bitcoin nowadays is growing not like before if we can see those trasaction in blockchain there are more trasaction made every other day you can see there how popular bitcoin is.

I don't know if it will die, but a lot of bitcoins will eventually disappear. Already there are probaly a couple of million locked in wallets that passwords have been lost, and will never see the light of day again. Also, probably some people drop dead without leaving next of kin info about their bitcoins. I wonder how many bitcoins will be out of the system forever by the time all 21 million are mined?

bitcoin will never die. bitcoin can last for a long time. I am sure because bitcoin can grow even faster. bitcoin will become a financial payment media world.
well to be honest you might be really wrong about that, bitcoins can actually last for a long time though i really doubt that it is not going to die in the future because of a huge variety of reasons first of all there will be some other currencies that will be even better that bitcoins, i mean not only other type of cash but also the other cryptocurrencies that might be even better with their code and so on besides that i think that bitcoins might not even become as big as fiat is right now so there would surely be some trouble for it staying around if the rate of adoption does not get way faster than it is right now so i wouldnt put too much hope into it right now because in my opinion in the future anything might happen and you would just lose big money if you invested too much into it

I remember that people said the bitcoin was dead, but it is still very healthy. That could be applied to litecoin as well.

Internet is like oxygen for Bitcoin. As long as internet is available and working Bitcoin will just grow more and more and will stay alive. It has passed through many thick and thin situations where it had serious survival threats in last couple of years. bitcoin will never die now and will be much more trustworthy online payment processor and asset plus currency whatever.

Yeah if people continue to use it then I don't think it will ever die and the community is growing at a moment so more users will lead to higher price of bitcoin in coming years.

The mining is becoming too expensive and none profitable. I think that will bring uᴉoɔʇᴉq to an end. Another problems is that there is only a few miners left controlled by a few making them controlling moondollars. It's no longer the currency of the people but a currency of the few rich companies that runs the show.....but for how long can the continue?
I have been looking at Rimbit instead since it is premined and therefore don't need the middleman with the expensive hardware for transaction validation. Instead the validation is done by the wallet's running on peoples computers. As I see it it's a currency for the people and it will stay that way. Sadly it's still fairly unknown.
Time will show how long moondollars survive but my guess is not more than 3 years......please challenge that statement with serious arguments.
I do not know when Bitcoin is going to die because it is going to depend on how Bitcoin is going to do in the future. They have to make sure that they will become bigger and make it out there.

True, as long there are people who buy and use it it wouldnt surely die easily because adoption would help it to develop more and sustain its pace on upcoming years. AS we can see on the development of bitcoin in past 7 years before it was created we could really say that its already successful.

Bitcoin is not gonna die, mainly because:
1. Technically better coin can't kill bitcoin - we have technical capabilities to resolve any standoff. 2. There is too much at a stake - people invested billions in bitcoin mining, startups, projects. 3. It is not easy to shut down, there is no central point of failure. I can't be closed down like Liberty Dollars Reserve was.

end of mining don't mean bitcoin will die . it will ends when bitcoin reaches 21 million bitcoins . but that will take long time .
How did you know that bitcoin will ends when it reaches 21 millions? What is your basis to calculate this things? I just don't get it! But I do believe everything in this world has an ending part. So in bitcoin I agreed with you it will really take long time.

Bitcoin is a lot stronger these days with the number of people using it constantly growing. Chances that a price drop kills Bitcoin completely is very small, it could still happen but it would take a pretty serious incident for people to just forget about it and move on. The recent Bitfinex hack is a good indication of how far Bitcoin has come, the price dropped from around $650 to ~$490 and almost immediately started recovering. It took just over 24hrs for the price to jump back to around $550.

I don't think bitcoin is going to die. It's designed to last for years to come. People all over the world has invested into it.We can see startups, companies and developers running various projects based on bitcoins. The show has been started and it's all set to grow as per the rate of adoption.

Price volatility will not kill some miners if it crashes lower than 200 dollars. But the difficulty can readjust and miners can hop back in when they feel it's profitable. So price volatility shouldn't kill bitcoin.
And then there are rumours spreading so people can crash the price of bitcoin and they themselves can buy a shitload and store as investment for themselves. We can also see various scam projects to steal money from users in the form of bitcoin. So what I am saying is, all these "end of bitcoin news" is just to panic new users or uneducated users to dump there bitcoins.

i think bitcoin can never be go to die because of its use and quality of privacy and simplicity . the matter of mining bitcoin is not a problem . it is like to making new bundle of notes in our country . if less no. of bitcoin is available in online then rates will be high and if available in bulk then rates will be less . so there will be no effect of mining in bitcoin future .
