It will not happen because Bitcoin is profitable for most people and many are using bitcoin. Bitcoin will die if there is no internet connection but this will not happen because people will always think of a way to provide internet access. Also Bitcoin is the first crypto currency therefore almost all alt coin are based on Bitcoin.

no one can predict the future of bitcoin, as well as how long it will last, all very likely to occur in the future. but for me bitcoin can live up to 50 years or more. not sure if to live forever, because certainly in the future there will be a competitor of bitcoin.

Everything in this world have ending or shall we say has its duration. in my own opinion bitcoin is not going to die if ever it would die but it takes too many years i guess, maybe in our lifetime or even in many decades. Bitcoin spreaded allready and have already reached high market cap and everyday in became  more popular.
yes that is right and i think that bitcoin will survive until the humans remain in this world, bitcoin has not become an essential part of our life, and there is no chance that bitcoin will come to an end. i think bitcoin is now going to merge other currencies and it will remain the fundamental currency of the world and every one will be using it for multi purposes,

Bitcoin will survive for long time as I don't think it will die very soon, bitcoin is getting more popular day by day and price may fall in future but it will never die.

I don't think that Bitcoin will ever die.
Why?
It's the same as with any other currency in the world.
American dollar will never die, also Japanese or Chinese currency etc
Of course it's always possible that some other virtual currency will replace bitcoin and become more popular but still Bitcoin will not die, always some people will use it, even just for trading purpose.
I'm sure that for a very long time bitcoin will remain no 1 virtual currency.

i think in this contest die means being replaced or being less popular... so if the price will keep decreasing like this then i am sure it will die in few months...

I think bitcoin is not going to die as bitcoin now is much stronger it has a bigger market cap and all of those investors will not want to lose their money so they will give value to their coins and will support bitcoin to make it more stronger , and the developers are trying their best to make the technology of bitcoin more advanced and more favorable in the global market.

Bitcoin is a very resilient currency that I don't will ever just die overnight. Roll Eyes
From all it has been through and it has not died yet over the last 7 years of it's inception in 2009 then I don't think it can just burn out or fade away. Wink

BitCoin is like the internet. It can't die out, as long as there's people on the network, and still accepting it, it'll stay alive.

Exactly and the fact is when internet came into existence people said that internet will not survive in long run but today it has become our necessity and same will go with bitcoin too in future.

in the eyes of some people bitcoin is already dead and will stay dead as long as they don't believe in it.
but while we trust and believe in it it will stay alive at least for us.

Bitcoin will never die as long as the internet is around, and I don't see that going anywhere anytime soon.

When computers will be so advanced that they can compute the private key of an entire Bitcoin address (and not just of a prefiss). If it happened Bitcoin would die.

Chances are Bitcoin is not going to die for a relatively long time, and if it does I would be relatively surprised. There's a lot happening with Bitcoin these days and the market still seems quite active, so I would think that Bitcoin still has a long life ahead. It could begin to die out in a decade, two, more than that, it all depends and there isn't really a definite answer. It could die at anytime, but it is incredibly unlikely.

I think that bitcoin is mostly supported by online technology so until internet and electricity is running their is always life for bitcoin. or else if anyone hacks the system of Bitcoin , then also their are chances of bitcoin can die as he may crash the full technology also.

those who say bitcoin is dead are only spreading FUD in the forum to create some small panic and reach their filthy goals.

you should never take these people seriously because they are full of lies.

Need some spare btc for a new PC

May not die out, it will probably be used at deepweb and illegal websites as a currency but it may just be forgotten one day in the mainstream. I mean we could still be using it here but the businesses and websites will discard it and people will just forget about it. These website hackings and btc stealing, prices going up and down rapidly and significantly could affect the bitcoin path to the mainstream and wider usage, so therefore it may just be forgotten like that.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.
