Eth is one of the best alts. Though i missed the boat when it was cheap but still holds some.

Most ICO's here use ethereum platform, so I think it's best to keep some ethereum. A lot of ICO's are directed to ethereum and most projects here requires ethereum wallet. So, it would be a waste if you will not keep ethereum for your self. There would be no way for you to trade the coins or tokens you will earn.
Simple you can understand if you are holding Bitcoin because this coin is the King on cryptocurrency world, why do not spend your money to invest into Ethereum? It also is an altcoin #2 on the rank of coinmarketcap  , additionally it has a strong community miner GPU + investor from the ICO market too. |

If you speculate on a lot of alt coins, it is a good thing to hold Ethereum since most of the new alts run on the Eth network. It is one of the most successful alts along with Monero and Litecoin so it is a good thing to long hold Eth if ever you get to buy it at a cheap price.

Correct and it gets even better with the altcoins that are popping out. They have better features and they specialized into something that not just the crypto world will be better but also the physical world. Thanks to ETH this guys can fund this projects to make it bloom more for better convenience. |

I think ethereum is one of the better options of altcoins available in the market simply because of its wide range of applications . Most of the ICOs are based on this platform Which makes it very popular.

The etherium is now in great demand and support. On the basis of its platform, numerous ICOs are conducted, so I do not see the basis for not trusting the etherium. This is an old, good and promising, in my opinion a coin.

Ethereum is still a good altcoin even though the price dropped a lot.
Also compared to other Altcoin it is more recognized and some establishments or retail store accepts Ethereum.
If I have an extra cash on hand during the dip i would buy Ethereum.

No one will give you good advice. But mine advice - Keep amount you can easily lose, this market is overvalued for now  if I survive if I still lose, especially yesterday when bitcoin at a price of 60 million sure if sold now will be a big loss :-) |

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

I think that its still good to invest in ETH, after all many people still trust their coin and also not to mention there are still good projects under ETH. Also, bounty campaigns under ETH also gives a lot of profit/money. But you should still invest on coins or projects that suits you the most and still be aware of scams to be able to gain profit from what you are doing. |

Even it is infinite but it's limited by years. so in future hard to mine ethereum than now. people are really need eth than any other coin Etherium is very influential at all today because almost all of its development projects with Etherium. and it can not be avoided because Etherium deserves to be a development center just like bitcoin. |

Ethereum is a good alternative coin (Altcoin) for me. Why ? Because right from its beginning up to now still it has good projects and it gives a lot of money/profit. Even though the price is dropping, it will increased again because the price is varying. Still, its up to you which altcoin you prefer but be careful of choosing altcoin there are lots of scam now.

yes ethereum is called "the next bitcoin" because of the popularity of bitcoin. I think it is not impossible, ethereum has something unique that is not owned by bitcoin "smart contract". ethereum lovers increasingly widespread, even in my country trading ethereum is very popular in comparison to bitcoin. |

I notice that the thread was more than a year ago, and time answer the question itself. Probably if you invested your funds with etherium you certainly gain more as of now. And the idea of getting away from it becomes a bad idea. Currently etherium is becoming the new bitcoin. The truth about this alt coin is the risk, Just like any other coins the wisest way to do is just to release wealth you can afford (I dont want to say "willing to loss", because no one wants. There are still coins potential for growth, its not to late to invest.
