Ethereum is the future bitcoin, it has the potential to even beat bitcoin. It has superb technology as well as support. We might see bitcoin being the king of crypto-currencies for at least next 5 years more, but eventually, Ethereum will beat it, and that's just my opinion though.  With the second layer, the bitcoin can do many things that ETH can. I think ETH will not beat bitcoin. |

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Before, i can't convince myself to invest in this coin but after a couple of months i find ethereum as the best coin next to bitcoin. I can see a great future for ethereum specially when i am doing some observations about the graph of different altcoins, I find ethereum as much secure coin compare to the other coins.

i think its great ico thought. especially for long term. eth is very good in long term investment. thou there is still a lot coin to invest in short term just keep tracking the market so you will understand how the market value move.

Eth and btc are a good investment opportunity, for sure. even now when they are pretty expensive. I think where to invest really depends on your budget... .but don't start from investing all your funds in big coins, if you are a new investor with average budget..

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Each member here has it's own experience and different ideas and comments about each coin. It's better if you would do your own research, it's good to ask for advice but don't take them all seriously. Just invest an amount that you can afford to lose. Investing is risky so study what you will do before investing. do not make the opinions of others people as the main benchmark, because each user may have different opinions about etherum, may say etherum scam like some threads in altcoin section, there are also other opinions, which important is not to make it as a benchmark, but make the opinions of others people as a reference, then you should research yourself to choose to invest in etherum or stay away That is right. I know many people are using Ethereum, so I think it has future. Indeed we should should be able to meletakkkan our money on a highly profitable investment in the future such good yanag good altcoin Ethereum than others and also has a good advantage bitcoin and superior in the future |

It is very good alternative coin if you are working with ether chain tokens. It must sound as irony. But ether created its own ecosystem where ether is needed in every operation. So you should stay away from that ecosystem if you are not gonna use ether.
That is what I like with Ethereum. It created its own demand, they have many Tokens under its system where it uses Eth to pay to transfer those coins. U unique idea on its ecosystem. Also, they continue to innovate and upgrade to meet today's needs. |

Ethereum is a rising star of cryptocurrency world. Ethereum is a smart contract platform with Turing complete scripting language built in. Ethereum transaction confirmation time are more faster than bitcoin. Ethereum is a no 2 coin after Bitcoin. In the starting I was hesitating to buy Ethereum for long term but when I see the potential of Ethereum then I bought Ethereum because I know one day Ethereum will also skyrocket in future like Btc.

I believe that Ethereum has more advantages than disadvantages. First of all, it`s stability. The main purpose of the project is to preserve the principles of decentralization and free choice of the market. Ethereum is also persistent. The system is provided with excellent protection. The advantage is also financing - now attracted fairly large investors. And of course the main advantage is that the shareholders are the owners of Ethereum.

When it comes to the altcoin community, Ethereum is the number one, the top among so many other coins. But when it comes to the entire crypto world, ETH will always be following the trail of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the king and ETH is just coming in second. |

Ethereum is a very good platform and it can show fast growth in coming months because of developemental changed in the platform. I think you shoukd buy and hold some amount of ethereum as growth is certain for ethereum. |

Ethereum is a good altcoin just now although like any coins there are risks. I have bought some and plan to hold as you never know what the future will hold. I think alot of people see ethereum as the bitcoin boat they missed.

Whilst Bitcoin is more conservative about new features and preserving stability, Ethereum goes in the bleeding edge of what the tech can offer. An example of this is of their planned hard fork protocol upgrades, like Metroplois which is due in a few weeks.
