Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Ethereum is a good coin. The only problem are those ERC20 tokens who used Ethereum to scam people. I think this it would be be better if ethereum would Scan or give a high standard qualification for ERC20 tokens that wants to use their platform.

For me Ethereum is the best contender of BTC when it comes to crypto currency. This alt is already proven as a strong coin. And I don't if this is related and please someone educate me, most ICO's they are using Eth as their platform and I think it's a good indication that Ethereum is a good investment

I agree, Ethereum is a very good altcoin in other coin market, Ethereum seems to have a good side for the circle and maybe ethereum will beat bitcoin.

ETHERIUM is a really good alternative coin, however, I'd say that it still has a very very serious issue (even two of them:

The first and the major one is that the supply of ETHERIUM is unlimited, which means that as long as anyone can mine more and more of ETHERIUM it will be mined and as technologies are advancing we will see more miners around ETHERIUM, so when supply grows (as minors try to get rid of their Etherium and receive some fiat money) the price is likely to decrease from time to time and the value of ETHERIUM is rather limited.

The second thing is that the team, and especially Vitalik Buterin influence the price of the ETH. On the one hand it's good as they can sometimes preserve the value of the cryptocurrency, however, they can be used in fake news or if something really happens to them it's likely to ruin the market and the exchange rate will certainly decrease strongly.

Despite the mentioned drawbacks I still invested (and will go on investing) in ETH as I consider it to be one of the best cryptocurrencies, though it's always you who decide where you should invest your personal money.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

on 3 weeks ago , ethreum not stable , yesterday i see eth price 1 eth = 294 . but today raised to 304 , its always not stable , hard to predicted.

Vitalik Buterin has said he will co-operate with a developer to create a contract can control the ICO token or as your said is ERC20. I can not rememeber exact it is mean contract or new function, but you can understand we will see more changes in next time.

Really! What do I make of your title of this heading. Ethereum platform is more promising by far to any platform in crypto. Smart contract has open up possibilities we never dreamed of 4,5years ago. So Ethereum is future!

Ethereum is the best altcoin that is on the market at the moment, probably other people would like other altcoins instead of ethereum, but this one is incredible, i am in love with it, because it is like the son of Bitcoin, and everybody consider it like this.
There is no doubt that ethereum is going to be in the top 3 forever, of course.

A lot of people have already made a lot of money from this. And it has become quite popular now, I find it hard to believe any more speculations can be made at this level. And the gossip around this is just too much to have any trust left. It's a tough world, and i would put my money into something else.

yes Etherium give good profit to their investors but it is longterm investment what ever ETH is good for investment but now a day every one buy bitcoin and sell all their altcoin  thats why i have doubt ETH future will be not good.

Holding both coins could have a better display when someone is viewing what coins that you have. It's not that hard to invest in things with money that won't be used for anything else.

Ethereum is number one coin in altcoin after BTC and it is in top 10 in marketcap. ETH is a must for apply to new ICOs as approx all ICOs using ERC20 token which require eth wallet and best is the myetherwallet. You have to save your private key to a safer place as if you lost that, you cannot do anything in your account.

I'm sure Ethereum is a good coin because many used many projects, I get a lot of benefits because keep ethereum since a year ago and I'm sure next year's performance will be the same as this year even better.

Ehtereum has proven it's value until now.. so I would suggest keeping this one.
Don't forget, it's still a top 3 coin and I'm sure it will continue to stay in for a while. But ETH does lend itself for being a midlong term trading coin.
So..  try to look into that before instead of dumping

If we base  on pridictions ftom the experts, ethereum will stay and be around in 10 years. Ethereum is the one that lasted for long days over the market, even after facing lots and lots of issues in the middle. The price started to move in large scale variation by this year. Now lots of other digital assets function on the ethereum smart contracts blockchain platform making it worthy and grow further.
