Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

2017 was the year for bitcoin and I am thinking that 2018 will be the year for altcoins and for me at this time number 1 Altcoin is ETH. Because of bitcoin high fees, people are moving towards Ethereum and it getting good momentum and I am sure in 2018 ETH will get at least 2000$ for sure. This is just my point of view if you want to invest in Ethereum first do proper research then go in it.

You are right, Eth start grow fast in this year and will reach 2000$ soon. I think this will the year of Eth because btc could not grow more with some countries banned.

Of course Ethereum is good altcoin because last year it grow fastly then this year it will be the continue of its growing. Also for those who cannot afford to buy bitcoin, you can buy ethereum because it also much profitable and cheapest. And i think ethereum will be the second best cryptocurrency to bitcoin.

That is true. If the Bitcoin is still very congested, the ETH or the Bitcoin Cash could replace that.

 Ethereum is good. Infact his the next on bitcoin. Ethereum has great blockchain and powerful smart contract even a hacker will hard to crack it. Same with bitxoin ethereum has big potential. I think i didnt see any negative on him maybe the price?? But his the 2nd big price on crypto..

Hardly the value of BTC can be surpassed even when talking about ETH, there is much talk about the limitations that BTC currently has but just wait a little time and you will see how the same or other limitations appear in ETH, It's only a matter of time.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

I hope that the author of this thread listened to advice and left ETH for long-term storage. Since 2016 (the beginning of this topic) until today, the price of this coin has grown drastically. From this we can conclude - be calm and believe in crypto.
