I run a single bat with 4 green an 1 red card. 3 1070ti, 1 1080ti, 1 RX580 all 8GB with a restart every 6 hours.

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-us-west1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal XXXX -epsw x -rxboost 1 -r 240

Why the restart every 6 hours?

my 1080ti seems to drop about 1+ mh/s for some reason so the restart helps pop it back up usually.

Also, mining a 3090 with claymore no issues so far besides my clocks. If you can find our twitch stream you can view it hashing.

Is it possible to mine ETC with Claymore now ?
When I tried  I got this error - 'Pool sent wrong data, cannot set epoch, disconnect'.
If to mine ETH it works fine.

A think it will not work because it says algo is different Sad good thing is asics also will dissapear from etc network Smiley right now only lolminer did for AMD. T-rex for Nvidia.and im very bad on lolminer cant get good speed on that miner
I wish all these miner developers to look how claymore did and they also do the same, Claymore had very good explanation (readme) and bunch of settings always getting best from your card that could give, lolminer, teamredminer has no settings, well it was 3years ago messing up with bios modding.i dont want again mod bios. I tried AMD mem tweak crashing, and people who figured out they dont say how they got it. waiting when claymore back again or one of theminer developers do good job like claymore did 1 YEAR ago.

lolminer is pretty ok. Also still works on all my 4GB cards in windows mining ETH, 8GB is display card tho.

lolMiner.exe --algo ETCHASH --pool POOL --user WALLET --4g-alloc-size 4032 --keepfree 8
pause

Why the restart every 6 hours?

Is it every 6 hours? If its almost by the clock every 6 hours, then most likely its some virus scanner on your computer. I had this issue and took me a while to figure it out. But basically for some odd reason around 2-3 AM, my rig would sometimes crash. Sometimes it would restart, other times it would just hang. Took me forever to reaslise that my anti virus starts a scan at like 2AM not to interfere with work because they assume most people are asleep by then.

The scanner hogged the CPU or memory and basically the GPUs got unstable and eventually crashed and needed to be rebooted. If yours is every 6 hours, then its most likely the same thing. If waits until system is idle long enough, assumes no human is using it, and starts a virus scan.

Hi Claymore, when you get a chance can you post your miner API to github?

I'm almost done with a FREE miner monitoring app (for ios) and would like to include your miner. When it's released on the app store I will start a new forum thread for it.

Thank you!

He was last active a year ago but if you trace his wallets, he made some transaction back in the Summer. Since BTC and most likely ETH are going to moon and "might" hit ATH again, we will know if he is still out there whether he moves his ETH coins to an exchange. It would be irresponsible to not take some partial profits at least when ETH hit $1000 again. Since at 2 points in time, it hit a low of $80 and when you see profit that large you should take it.

Typically in most online settings, when someone quits a project, instead of announcing they are retiring from the project, they just stop posting. Pretty much become a ghost and move on to other things. Besides the DAG problem, the software was pretty stable and didn't really need much developement. Maybe he doesn't want to upgrade the software because he wants to give other miner devs some profit sharing. Plus the profits aren't the same as in 2017-2018.

Circumstances also change where it might be beneficial to not sell/move the coins. Perhaps he is moving countries. In the US the simple act of moving coins counts as a transaction as it's treated like real-estate property and not an equity.

"GPU5 - not enough GPU memory to place DAG, you cannot mine this coin with this GPU"

This is on Windows, RX580 8GB. Started yesterday on 2 out of 5 mining rigs with the same setup. Is this the beginning of the end for Claymore 15 or is there enything I can do?

You are right... you are having the normal problems that people is having arriving to the end of the EPOCH in Claymore...

You have different options:

- Not mine more ETC and ETH and miner other altcoins (EGEM, ETHO, ... ) with lost of profit...
- Change miner for another miner that it has continues development, for example lolMiner with support for AMD and Nvidia... It also includes the new algo for ETC that will come next week... so you will have different options to choose.

I thought I screwed up my Claymore but it is obvious that it is no longer working even with 8Gb gpus for other people as well. I am glad that I've managed to switch to another miner just yesterday. Now all my cards are working fine. Only the card on my computer under Windows is using the straps from Claymore with another miner, so this will be the only use of Claymore henceforth. Good bye good old Claymore! You are like Old Shatterhand in the wild crypto west  Grin

I have 40Gb VM on the two rigs that has stopped and 32Gb on one of the 3 that's still running so that can't be the issue

You quit Claymore manually at some point and then start Phoenix or some miner? Do you have to pause Claymore or stop it at a certain point to make it work?

Yes, I can either press 0 to disable the gpu and then start Phoenix. The timings are remembered until I close Claymore's windows. Or, I can run Claymore with non mineable coin like ETC and now ETH and then start phoenix.

Your the man! So this means we have 1 or 2 EPOCs before it will be gameover for Claymore 15 on ETH?

I think so.
I'm already ready to migrate to phoenixminer, I even got a bigger hashrate but they say it's more unstable.

sorry about my English
