Hello, I can't mine ETC after 350 epoch by Claymore 15.0  Undecided
My Hash Rate is 1-1.5 mhs (RX470 4GB)
PhoenixMiner 5.0b works perfectly, but Claymore does not work. Any ideas ?  Huh

I have change to PPS+ ETH, but I cannot connect, where I'm making the mistake…

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu.crazypool.org:3333 -ewal <MyWallet>.<RigName>/<Referral> -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 -retrydelay 20 -tt 1 -tstop 75 -ttli 73 -tstart 55 -r 1 -mode 1 -y 1 -gser 0 -allpools 1 -showdiff 1

It was working perfect before on the PPS+ ETC:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu.crazypool.org:7000 -ewal <MyWallet>.<RigName>/<Referral> -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 -retrydelay 20 -tt 1 -tstop 75 -ttli 73 -tstart 55 -r 1 -mode 1 -y 1 -gser 0 -allpools 1 -showdiff 1

Many thanks in advance...

Two questions on one of my ETH only Claymore 15 rigs:

1.  One GPU seems to fail as follows:

08:27:09:959   6a0   watchdog - thread 8 (gpu4), hb time 344
08:27:09:960   6a0   watchdog - thread 9 (gpu4), hb time 16
08:27:09:962   6a0   watchdog - thread 10 (gpu5), hb time 73344
08:27:09:963   6a0   WATCHDOG: GPU 5 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
08:27:09:964   6a0   watchdog - thread 11 (gpu5), hb time 73031
08:27:09:968   6a0   WATCHDOG: GPU 5 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
08:27:10:095   1b44   Quit, please wait...
08:27:17:231   6a0   Restarting OK, exit...

any suggestion on what could be the problem?  tried -50 up to -120 mv adjustment and +/- power settings to no avail.

2.  I have a number of data.bin and data*.bin and data*.bin2 files in the claymore directory.    Can I delete some of them?  What is causing that to happen?

Thanks.

I'd suggest you to lower your gpu and mem clock and their volts as well
My GPU5 was also showing me this error, look how I resolved its problem.

-cclock 1150,1150,1000,1140,1150,1100(was 1150)
-cvddc 850,850,800,850,850,825(was 850)
-mclock 2000,2070,1500,1980,2060,1980(was 2020)
-mvddc 850,850,800,850,850,825(was 850)

Another tip I can give you is to enable rebooting system whenever GPU hangs, especially if your rig is not physically reachable, because it can freeze your system and reboot will be needed.

Don’t bother. All 2nd coins supported by Claymore (or others) are being sucked by ASIC giants.

This dual mining, was useful a few years ago - but their developers never bothered to tell customers not to waste their time anymore.

Now, any ETH mining software would do. Just find the cheaper or free tools around.

Is there any problems with Claymore and mixing NVidia and AMD in the same system? I have 3 1070TI's currently and there is a really good deal on some 580's. I want to add three of them to the same system.
Should I run two Claymores, one for NVidia, and one for AMD?
Any issues with overclocking them on the same system?

But it's an interesting question.... can claymore update and add some new shitcoin to mine dual again? something asics haven't touch yet. How can we ask for this?

No problem, just combine them in one rig and continue mining. One miner for all cards.

Do I hear right that Claymore is no longer being developed / maintained...? Where has this been confirmed...?

Anyone else found that mining has stopped working...? I have 4Gb AMD 470s and recently Claymore v15 is only giving error messages, though I thought we were some time away from being unable to use 4Gb anymore...Huh

I know he's posted it here in this thread, I don't know the exact page.
If it's not this (Dual ETH miner) miner, I might have mistook it from his other miners but I'm 65% certain I'm correct.

-Edit-
Weird, this was his last post: /index.php?topic=1433925.msg53050842#msg53050842, there's no official announcement of "last version".
But I remembered that there was a long post here about the final version.... hmm.

Nevermind my previous statement then.

Yes
I had to migrate to PhoenixMiner which is an awesome miner as well
But when 4GB cards stop mining I'll buy one 8GB card for each rig and problem is solved.

this is dont work, if dag > 4Gb.
your card with 4Gb give low hashrate or dont work.
you can test it on 3gb cards.

Buying an 8GB card at setting it as the first card only buys you a few weeks. The Dag is already 3.7GB for ETH. An 8GB card is only going to help for that last 0.3GB, once the DAG stops fitting in the GPU memory those 4GB cards will have to find a smaller DAG coin or move onto another algo or be sold. Sadly most of the 4GB and under cards can't compete against the newer cards in the profitable coins except maybe scraping a few pennies from KawPow on a 1060GB or something like that.

Basically if you got any 4GB GPUs you should sell them ASAP before they completely stop working under Linux and with the 8GB as GPU0. Because there is going to be a flood of them on eBay and Craiglist and it'll be tough to sell them.

What I did was basically sell some of my 4GB RX 470 for like $80 and bought 8GB variants for $100-125 USD. Currently its the only solution to the DAG problem. Plus when all 4GB stop working plus the ASICs the difficulty should be less and more profit for your 8GB GPUs.
