I swapped to another miner, -eres 0 was giving me substantially lower hr on 1070ti, 1080ti, 3090, 3060ti cards I have.
I'd say what I moved to but all the other miner software still don't compare poolside to claymore and I'm not happy about it, about 10mh/s less than expected than the 20mh/s + than expected poolside I was getting from claymore just a few days ago.
Claymore and PhoenixMiner have inflated Mhs... is normal if you change miner that you will see real Mhs (lolMiner, TRM, ... )and not inflated. I must have not been clear, Claymore gave me better results poolside in share count and hr, than what it displayed locally compared to other software.

The problem is not in Claymore itself, but in old drivers where there was a software restriction on the use of OCL VRAM of no more than 4 gigs, this is clearly visible if you open GPU-Z.
Install the new drivers on 20.9.1 and everything will work right away, just remove the stripe settings because the OCL API has changed in the new drivers and Claymore does not understand it, otherwise the rig immediately goes into reboot.
Use the amdmemtweak tool instead of stripes.
The output is the same hashes with the same stability and no errors.

Shitshow, Miner finally died on a Christmas morning... Switch to trex and getting 18-20 MH/s instead of 35MH/s on 1070ti no matter the setting. What the hell?

It wasn't working for me since this morning
Error was: ¨GpuMiner cu_kd2c failed 77 (0), an illegal memory access was encountered¨
1060 6gb ssc windows 10 claymore v15
I replaced -eres 0 by -eres 2 and it works again. Not sure for how long it will be working, but in my case, so no need to change the miner yet.

Hello fellow miners. Some of you can remember me from HSRMINER Neoscrypt Fork by Justaminer. I've updated that miner, added new features and fixed bugs without access to source code. I like Claymore's Eth miner much and used it many times in 2019/2020, so it's sad for me to see this situation. I decided to see what can be done to solve the problem. After two weeks of researching and hard work, the solution is 99% ready. I call it " More Epochs" mod for Claymore Eth Miner v15 for Windows. For now mod supports only Cuda 8 version of the miner and increases number of epochs up to 500. Support of Cuda 10 version of the miner, Linux version of the miner and support of Amd gpus will come later (not sure about Amd for now as I don't have any of amd video card right now for research and testing). I'm doing final tests, right now my mod works with -eres 2 which means epoch 386 for Dag buffer. But I have to wait actual epoch 385 to check it there. If everything will be fine, I'll release the mod and will create separate topic for it. Don't lose hope and stay tuned.

I also used this miner for a very long time. Without access to the main code, this miner will lose in performance on new video cards.

About 2 hours ago I started getting "pool sent wrong data cannot set epoch disconnect" on ethermine org.
I am running Radeon VII's so memory is not an issue.
Anyone having the same issue? Thanks.

Hello, I have the same error message "Pool sent wrong data, cannot set epoch, disconnect / ETH: Connection lost, retry in 20 sec...". Here are the settings I am using: -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal *** -epsw *** -eworker *** -mode 1 -gser 2 -eres 0 -wd 0 disable watchdog I also tried to install the latest 15.0 version but it the problem is the same. I am using Radeon RX 570 GPUs on Ubuntu. The same kind of setup runs good on Windows. Anybody knows what can be the solution? Thanks in advance.
