That sounds interesting - where can i find more infos about the Atom token ?

Have a glance at Ionomy Wiki
http://ionomy.wiki/index.php?title=Atoms
Thanks:

It says:
Atoms are platform exclusive tokens on ionomy.com that produce electrons for Staker boosting and other platform functions. Users who meet the Atoms holding minimums receive benefits such as reductions in fees and free subscriptions. Today Atoms produce 0.1 electron each day for the owner.

Atoms can only be acquired through the ionomy.com Atoms auction platform.
History
Atoms were originally sold to users as a way to fund the development of the ionomy.com platform. In return for that funding users who own 1000 Atoms receive beta access to new features and products and have a greater opportunity in providing feedback on the direction of the ionomy ecosystem. Users who own 5000 Atom receive alpha access and a chance to provide the first round of

I still don't understand how can i get Atoms?

Atoms can be obtained from the Ionomy Auction

Somewhat predictably - ionomy needs more money.

The big unveiling of a new "element" is just another round of crowdfunding.

Quote
Tomorrow the darkness of the Storm is expected to overtake the Power Grid, when ionomy introduces a newly discovered, mysterious element, the likes of which has never been seen.

FFS, dark matter is not a fucking element, what's wrong with these people.

https://news.ionomy.com/darkmatter/

Quote
There will be multiple ways to get your hands on Dark Matter:

10% offered in pre-sale on ionomy.com for select digital currencies.
30% offered in crowdsale on ionomy.com for select digital currencies.
60% given away through a series of airdrops to select digital tokens and currencies, for those who register their wallet addresses on ionomy.com.
Specific details and pricing will be revealed in the announcements for each phase.

They don't care about all this shit working, they just care about the price rising. Those massive profits he was talking about. I wonder if those are real profits meaning he actually sold or if it's the old Paycoin fallacy of holding the coins and calculating their worth?

I sold to payoff my PayCoin Defect with Dollars.. I will now put it to bed!!

so why a new presale? what happened to the 350btc they raised for ion? as i suspected they paid themselves with it and now its gone. all that btc created 1/2 a game. pretty dishonest for matlack being a man of god.

would be perhaps different if they had actual expenditures... why dont they work and pay a bounty from ion coins to themselves when they make something? plenty of those coins there... but nope they want your btc and want to give you some shit called dark matter. just a useless token with them trying to con you with a snazzy name. this whole week of adverts is designed to pull more btc. i dont think any of this advertised shit is actually available at present. api certainly isnt on their site.

Ok, let's recap.

Day 1: https://news.ionomy.com/lightning/ - tournaments with prizes (Gravity leaderboard still broken), ability to buy in-game trinkets via ionomy website and avoid Apple/Google 30% cut (sounds kinda fishy but maybe they can stay under the radar, what with their 50 users).

Day 2: https://news.ionomy.com/thunder/ - on-chain in-game currency (vaporware as of yet, they only have PNG tokens).

Day 3: https://news.ionomy.com/jumpstart/ - crowdfunding (a bunch of buzzwords but pretty sure none of it actually exists).

Day 4: https://news.ionomy.com/alchemy/ - web wallets (some more PNGs), masternode hosting for Dash (they could probably cook up a Dash VM pretty quickly if someone is willing to hand them the coins).

Day 5: https://news.ionomy.com/spark/ - ad network (again a bunch of buzzwords, throwing stuff at the wall, etc).

Day 6: https://news.ionomy.com/core/ - trying to make it sound like they have real developers, not very convincing given their history of broken shitcloning.

Day 7: https://news.ionomy.com/darkmatter/ - oh, by the way, give us more money, cuz we pissed away xpybits funds and ICO funds and other money we asked for before (remember shark bragging how smart it was to sell BTC at $700).

I'm sure korvas will be stopping by to explain how all this makes perfect sense and fits with the grand vision but in reality it is a brazen money grab - and not the first one - with nothing to show for it.

The team is so comfortable in fleecing the flock that they don't even bother with details any more, like updating their roadmap: https://ionomy.com/about/roadmap (still 1 game a month). Obviously nobody on slack will ever ask about old promises.

they paid their own debts and realized how easy it can be to do icos get more money. its greed, dishonesty and actually puts crypto backwards.

wildshark saying convert to cash at $700 was smart hes got no clue. matlack converted to usd to pay his church friends scammed by garza back. they made out it was usd easier to use but just an excuse to hide this fact. sooner or later a big spender will get pissed on dev speed and claims and sue ... thats when it all falls apart.

me ill keep my btc Smiley my stash is a nice size now

This bubble makes me nervous. I was determined to hodl until I have enough to retire comfortably but now I'm second-guessing that decision.

Could be worse though. Could be stuck with something like ION.

j/k. Not a chance.

Still shaking my head at this latest "crowdfunding" round. What a shameless bunch of paycoiners.

whats retire comfortably? 1 million isnt what it used to be. its going to jump btc it is when everyones onboard. i always thought $10k aud was a good final target. i dont believe $100k figures though.

personally i soon think we'll be talking smaller denominations... like share splits we wont be talking whole bitcoins anymore.

I think US$20k per BTC would be comfortable for me. Not luxurious, but just enough to travel the world in economy class... that's my retirement cliché.

I'll get there one way or another, just a question of how many more 80-hour weeks it's gonna take LOL.

The question has probably already been asked, but is this project a direct competitor of MobileGo? What are the main differences?

Has MobileGo delivered anything? If yes, then ionomy is probably not a competitor - they only blow smoke and ask for more money once in a while.

Why does bittrex still let this coin trade on the exchange when there is only red flags?

Bittrex will list any coin (well, maybe except obvious malware) that can pay their listing fee, 5 BTC or whatever it is. So being listed on Bittrex is not an indication of legitimacy, and Bittrex won't delist them for being assholes.

Bittrex wants to be a successful exchange and ION will continue to trade there until the Volume is really low!

Watch for ION appearing and being traded on other EXCHANGES!!!

I'd say this applies more to cults than religions maybe, but that's a discussion for another thread. I think we can describe the ionomy congregation as "lying assholes making money off blind faith".

Speaking of assholes, the top cheater on Gravity leaderboard is named "FairPlay" Grin

notice now how they are calling it a crowdsale and not ico on dark matter? they think a word changes the fact. i hope they are excluding us citizens from it like us based exchanges. its funny they cant help themselves they cant make content so they keep making new tokens to sell. atoms, dark matter, ion thats 3 tokens they've sold to their users now. garza would be proud he was only able to sell xpy as a token once. matlacks done it 3 times.

also whats the point in their ad network which im assuming is just a wrapper on an existing ad network they piggy back on if they only have 1/2 a game to show them in?

you'd have to be an idiot to buy dark matter... ion hasnt really achieved its use case and they want to sell you another token?

More like the idiots who paid for XPY and stuck with this flustercuck for three more iterations. If all those atoms and other trinkets were so great why does the team need more "crowdfunding" every year from the shrinking "crowd"? You'd think by now they would have a steady revenue stream... oh wait, you morons ARE their revenue stream Grin. Good luck.
