My "farm" is so tiny. Daytrading alone gives you easy 1%/ day. And  a beer in Norway costs way too much...
And to be on topic. 1080 mines like crab.

I love Helsinki:

If you are 1080 I can be 1070.

I am paying $0.12 and only thing that keeps me from running those hawaii's at full power is the heat they generate to my basement. It was nice during winter but not anymore.

You should move your farm to Norway. Right next to the powerplant with Hydro power.
The biggest farm in the world, the genesis lamer farm has 0.22% of the worlds etherum hashrate.

The Ghetto farm has 100 million investested in the ether, and the best optimizers in the world.

you should do hosting, i would let you buy a rig for me and put it there where the electricity is very cheap

Here are the new numbers and this time its for windows (will tell more in a week or so)
I was able to use beta afterburner and minimum tdp is 75w - at this point without boosting clocks to your 970 style (+150 gpu and +150 mem) just stock its 20mhs at stock with 90w it is 26mhs and at 100w its 27mhs
If you boost clocks +150 both it is 26mhs at 85 and 27mhs at 90W
Its also true for any other algo (+150 clocks)
- 24mhs Quark
14mhs lyrare2v
11mhs x11evo
 at 100w
Neoscrypt was 620khs at 110w
But thats all with not final board - when have a chance I'll run the numbers on the final board
BTW - I tested with power meter this time - nv-smi is really accurate with pascal
As with 1080 - for now - no news - it is possible that things will improve much but so far no change
As for changing the mining world - I think it does in a way that nano prices should go down, and 480 is a big question - for me its interesting on the compute side - how it does in other than eth algos
But because we all know what eth does on top boards - with new gpus it should be dual algo era - SP might comment on possibilities to implement other algos beside decred

26MH at 85w is fucking huge, i need to buy those gpu, you might have 2x rig instead of one with the same consumption

Found (after HOURS of digging) a working link to the stilt bios' for the 290 - and WHAT A DIFFERENCE they make.

Memory clock now optimises at 1250 (possibly less but ATICONFIG still won't let me UNDERclock).
Cards run a TON cooler, can push them to 1100 core (and a lot more hash) and they're STILL 10 degrees cooler than previous "thermal limiting" temps.

That's with the V32 bios - I've not played with any of the others yet.

Unfortunately I was able to determine that none of my cards are among the small quantity of "290x in disguise" versions - but 29MHs+ hash and temp headroom vs thermal-limiting and perhaps 20MH on some of them makes me a happy kitty!

IS this the one that you used?

MBA_C6711101-100_K2_AGR_STILTMP_V2F.zip (DPM7 - 1.2625V)

I just got the same card as you.

I'm using the V32 varient out of that series.

Might try going to one of the even lower voltage varients in a few days, after I verify good long-term stability on the current setup.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Looks like I can finally spend it Grin.

Dual miner...should be fun...better than patching stratum protocols Smiley

Some pic as requested...

At the wall with 90w power limit - that is 6x1080

138mhs at 90w power limit - keep in mind - there will be perf improvement but i dont know if its worth it..

The rig - actually there will be 1070s there in few weeks Wink

There should be more - i think its possible to fix this for 1080 but the best thing that 1070 is 25-26mhs at 90w

the wattmeter report 628 w right? so removing 90w x 6 is 540, 88 watt for the system alone? seems too much

Nano was like 3.5W/MHs

90/23 = 3.9 J/MH. My nano 110/26.5 = 4.1J/MH. So the it is more efficient and it is priced less than the nano.

less? it is around $600, nano is cheaper now

edit $800-$900 even worse, it cost 2 x the nano

What do you suggest to test next?

Could you please test Cuckoo Cycle?

https://github.com/tromp/cuckoo

On a Linux system, after cloning the repo, can you run
  cd src
  make cuda30
  time ./cuda30 -h 0 -n 11 -t 16384
and report the output?

I have 21w in 3 noctua fans at 3000rpm each
Again - the hash will improve for 1080 - but the 1070 does 27mhs at 100w - do your math
