lol people love to create FUD for no apparent reason, it's like people can't accept that Gulden is in fact an awesome coin, probably because they want to buy cheaper, as it's always the case when there's FUD around

MaNI is one the best developers around and work for Gulden, just deal with it Smiley

People are treating gulden as if it's a top 20 coin on CMC, The coin is barely making top 200. Lower your expectations by miles. The devs will never  be ready this month but be happy they are doing some dev.

Not much dev is being done outside the top 100 coins these days.

ETH is taking ages to do a POS solution which they can copy and this is number 2.

exactly, and that list of 30 (dutch) websites doesn't impress me

This isn't like buying a new car or smartphone where you pay for what you get, crypto is still in it's infancy and no one knows which coins will end up being the top dog in 10 years. In 10 years you will be paying for what you get.

Look at bitconnect, $2 billion marketcap and people were buying that scam up like there was no tomorrow and now it's dropped over 90% and a lawsuit filed against them.

Many more scams in the top 50 that won't deliver on their promises because it was never their intention to do any development only sucker people out of their hard earned $$.

And it was a list of 48 and not 30 and they are only the new acceptors of Gulden not all acceptors

This is a list but are also not all acceptors  =>  https://pay.gulden.com/

For five dolls I write nice whitepaper to help price.

I do not care if you think Gulden is a good or bad coin but that comment is ridiculous.  Shocked

Tell us what you think of their whitepaper and what they can do better or what is bad about this coin?

Just like Myraidcoins said :  I think bitconnect is a better coin for you   Grin

I did forget the devs are only part time on Gulden which explains the delays.

MaNI and Rits (Rijks brother) are full time devs for Gulden. The PoW2 and SegSig already had over 40 000 lines of code added when they talked about it on slack and others talked about it on here.

Part time dev would take 3-5 years to do a update this big. The whitepaper for PoW2 only came last year and then the project every hates called SegSig was added in August which delayed PoW2 by already 6 months.

Gulden is a coin that does not depend on anyone if investors and traders are interested in it - it grows, if not interested, then it falls. In general, the project is interesting if it is well studied.

Occasionally refreshing twitter and checking on slack, while glancing through the window of my room and feeling depressed that pow2+segsig ain't here yet.  Cry

This one is actually funny. Death or witnessing.lol
Don't worry clown you will still be alive to see the release of PoW2 and SegSig, testing must almost be over as it started in December and I expect the release to be in March.

Feb and March like I said would be a good time to buy. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt they won't be able to get SegSig working and this is the reason for the PoW2 delay. When they give up and remove the SegSig part PoW2 will come in June or July.
Ask the testers how many bugs SegSig is causing the team. You will see the devs won't be ready end of Feb.

PoW2 is not released yet.

Come back next year Feb or March. ETH will have their POS out before Gulden does PoW2 , might be better to stake with ETH , then buy Gulden next year for PoW2.

This person had the best timeline for the update but got it wrong on ETH.

ETH battling to do a simple PoS update shows how hard development is, I don't care about SegSig as Gulden does not need it but PoW2 I am looking forward too.

Stop with smoking is my advice.  Better for your health and better for you money wise.  The money you save you can buy Gulden with.  Is a win win situation  Grin
