Does anyone knows how to connect to OS using SSH?

It says that we can connect it using PuTTY as a SSH client but it does not connect to my IP at all.

My rig run SMOS normally before but now starting up can not connect to simplemining.net. It says: connecting to simplemining.net ... try 2/4, 3/4... 6/4. I login to simpleming.net  and do not see my rig online. My internet connection is ok. Anyone please tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks!

Good day!

Maybe anybody had the same issue - OC is not working for nvidia cards, no matter what OC settings I apply, they keep running in stock settings, however values in "core/mem" row are changing. For exaple I get 11.3 mhs ETH for 1050ti, ~17 mhs or ~240 SOL for 1060 3gb etc, which is exactly what I get "out from the box" under WIN7/10. Looks like they still run with stock settings, as in WIN10 I get using the same settings in MSI ~13,5 mhs ETH for 50TI and ~19.5 MHS ETH/280 SOL for 1060gtx. I always use very conservative OC.

I moved to SM because it supports 13-slot MB-s, but looks like "overclocking window" has only decorative purpose?

Hi,

I use those parameters on my GTX1060 and it works perfectly I get 23.2xMH/s for each GPU. I didn't flash any of my GPU's only using the Overclocking window on SMOS.

Core MHz: -50
Memory MHz: 1200
Power Limit (watt): 100
Target Temperature ℃: 75
Minimum Fan speed %: 40

I use also the same parameters for my GTX1070 (I got 2), and get 31.2 mh/s.

I got same problem, I notice that "Power Limit(Watt):" always is "6", I can't change it, When I press "save", there are error message "Error Power limit". No matter what I do I can't change it, only running in "out of box" speed(can't overclock), but my other rig, RX470 have no problem. Is it manufacturer lock it(to avoid overclock)?

I´ve tried your settings, my miner didn´t even start. So I reduced:

Core MHz: -30
Memory MHz: 900
Power Limit (watt): 100

...and still got 220 mhs for all 12 cards. One of them is 50ti with ~11 mhs, so 209/11= 19 MHS/1060gtx.

Does anyone know if you can mine Verge on the SMoS in Headless mode?
Love using it for ZenCash, but I'm looking to diversify.

Thanks.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? My USB flash drive isn't being recognized as a boot device. Apparently, the SMOS image doesn't make the USB flash drive UEFI? The USB flash drive I use for Ubuntu is recognized but it shows up as a UEFI device. I'm just wondering if my BIOS won't recognize it unless it's UEFI.

I'm using a Gigabyte H110-D3A mobo, with latest Bios version F23a for mining, and have set all mining parameters. I see no option for booting legacy devices.

Disable the UEFI, I had the same problem (disable all Windows options in your bios)

Host your ASICs in Siberia for $0.07/KW all inclusive. Contact me for information.

So I bought 42 zotac 1070ti amp 3 Extreme and almost finished  installing all card on 4 different rigs, six gpu left to install.  I’m using the Asrock 110 pro BTC, and I have one miner that has a card, gpu8, that after an hour or up to 8 hrs will says gpu msg buffer full or something and it closes connection and knocks all 4 machines offline and won’t restart until I go and manually power cycle each one. How do identify what gpu Is which, I can see the offending gpu 8 is using pci 10, but there is no physical pcie slot #10.

Also, what is a good OC for the zotac 1070ti, I’ve been using +200 core +700 mem 120 watt and doing mostly zcash and zen cash, getting like 4.10 sol/w

Any help is appreciated

tytanick,

Can you implement the "shutdown" function on the web control panel? I know there's a "reboot rig" function, but sometimes I need to shut down the rig to do maintenance and I don't want to short the PIN with the screwdriver.
