According to information from the Slack channel, an updated HEAT public roadmap is expected to be published within one week from now.

Any word on the updated GUI for the decentralized exchange?

1.0.3 is a mandatory upgrade, only nodes running 1.0.3 will receive Lucky node rewards.

Waves is going through the top, heat is a direct competitor as far as I know. Can someone tell me what the main differences are? In which way is heat superior (I know of microservices atleast) and what will be the plan to catch up with waves?

I want to really like this coin but I can't get past the scam assets on the exchange. Plus, I'm more interested in coins as scalable currencies and would be perfectly happy if they focused on that aspect of the coin and ditched their exchange completely, while trying to get on better exchanges.

Maybe they have a long term vision that I haven't fully researched yet and don't care about merely pumping the coin though. Good name, promising technology....

I feel a bit the same, but they have remained focused, so we will see  Smiley

They can't control what people name their assets. All true decentralized exchanges have this.  It's up to you to check what the names should be. If the company controls what names assets can use, it's not decentralized. Waves also isn't that decentralized - they have centralized trading matching server which is easy attack/ddos target. Additionally waves relies on gateways to switch to placeholder assets on chain.

Heat was one of the first to attempt to do something different by giving users native direct asset exchange (it's obviously not live yet, so not different at the moment)

Quote
DIRECT CRYPTO TRADING

Because the HEAT client hosts client side real crypto, integrated to the HEAT blockchain asset exchange through built-in invisible gateway, users can trade cryptocurrencies right from their wallet on p2p orderbooks without going through an exchange. This means that once your trade for ie. BTC/ETH goes through, you can use the BTC or ETH as you do normally. Bye bye withdrawal delays! Welcome multicurrency client and native direct exchange!

Unfortunately I lost a few forged heat due to this (unanounced) fork.

Nevertheless I hope I regain them when the price increases!

From what I know, everyone can enable a matcher on his node and connect his own exchange to it. So it's not a must to use the official node.

What are you talking man? i dont need to fud anywhere and never did, this is a total diffrent Theme to Xel, i just want to cash out since days to reinvest it somewhere els but, till now ive to wait and i miss some oportunites. On XEL i just shared my opinion about your price speculation, till now ive never fudded anywhere i dont need this behavoir and i will continiue to write down my honest position. So dont mix me up with some of your suckpuppet friends.  I ve to make some decissions, today i decided to stop following Heat and just staying on the sideline, iam confident that HEAT is a good project but right now i believe for my own its better to stay on the sideline and observe. So please dont throw around with inflationary "this is Fud bla bla"  Thx!

Yes guys seems like you haven't been following this thread. I am sick and tired of telling people the same old story again and again! Here it is one more time:
If you want your money complain in this shitty thread not by saying "oh I am waiting for x weeks, i hope they will process my withdrawal anytime soon", they won't! If you want it back put in BIG RED LETTERS something like "Heat is a scam" and insult these incest monkey products as hard as you can! Otherwise they will not give a shit about your dirty stinking ass and your money! And if you have time, please tell your experience to the whole world in here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HeatLedgerIsAScam/ so hopefully anybody doing a bit of research on this shitcoin will see it and keep their hands off of it! You will get censored in here on bct but you will not get censored on reddit. And these two dipshits really hate to see new complaints popping on reddit, trust me, I am the only friend you have in this thread everybody else is just after your money. They don't give a shit about you. It is a shame that bct keeps this stinking thread open and does not mark this shitcoin as a scam! Shame on you bct! And shame on you for deleting my posts! Just a big fat fuck you at mprep! My conscience is clear, when you realize what you did yours won't be!
