Investing is far more better than trading. Stock market have been studied long before. If you want to be successful in trading, you should be doing it for long. It requires long amazing experience to be the best there. In investing, you will become successful over a period of time with the help of the investors itself. Trading is short term, while Investing is for long term. Trading is all about the price, while investing is about the value. Trading is borrowing, while Investing is saving.

If your aim is to get instant profit, then trading is ok. In case of trading the potential profit won't be very high, of course, but you seem to be at a lower risk upon the loss of value.
Investing usually makes more sense from a long-term perspective, which might involve higher risks, but the potential return may also be more impressive.
Thus far bitcoin has been creeping upward, so probably both options are quite profitable.

Trading IS investing. You invest in shares or coins or whatever. So I think you should re formulate your question.
Yes, I wonder if OP don't visit this thread because this is true trading is a part of investment because you send money to something for hope make profit from there. maybe trading altoin is good, because I think the risk in trading altcoin is small .
Not at all, you can suffer with big losses because dumped or dead coins. |

If there's one thing common with trading & investing is that both will require you to take a risk which can never be eliminated, good thing you can lessen the risk of failing by studying the market before starting to put on your money.
I suggest you choose one that you think has lower risk of failure or one that you think you can be good at.

If you are going to ask me then i will go for investing because it only has a lower risk involved and it doesn't requires you to be active in the market because all you need to do is to invest then forget and check it after 6 months and that is it. Trading is a lot riskier than investing because trading is playing with the market and if you can't play well then the whales will eat you out. |

In most cases the least risky option is to avoid trading, and look for a decent investment opportunity. Point is that people must accept the fact that if they look for legitimate investment options, that the returns will be on the far lower side. I think that if you manage to gain 5-10% annually, you'll be doing well. Everything that offers a higher than 10% annual return is likely not going to stick with their promise, where you end up with a far lower return, or they will simply run with your money after a while. |

Base on my experience because i don't know how to do trading. I just invested some of my bits in gambling casino. Of course i made sure that the casino that i am investing is well known and doesn't have issues in the past. Trading is hard to learn but if you are PRO in trading then you can make a lot of money from it.
Can i know in which well-known casino are you investing? If you let us know, then it will be very helpful for us a lot. Because, most of the casinos take away all the investments and also scam. So, if you have any secure casinos which can bring some profit to us, then kindly let us know. |

Both can bring out profit equally but both have different types of characteristics. Trading needs to take more risk than investment, but trading brings more profit than investment, so if you want to make profit then you have to take more risk. The more you take risk the more you make profit...

Trading will always be on top in terms of giving profit for the individuals. Though investing is also a good thing, but its always risk involved because of the business that we are going to invest in. |

Trading is super yet how many people can do it properly? Only a few of us so very limited. Otherwise, investing requires a reasonable amount of initial capital. |

Well either of these two will give you profits if you know how to properly do both. And in a way the process for trading and investing is a lot similar to each other so i think its safe to choose either of them |

Just as in the financial markets the long-term holder usually always fairs better than the active trader. Problem is that trading is so much more fun!  We are all gamblers at heart! lol yes that is true , if you calculate everything you will find that you are as a daily trader have less profit for those people who did not put a lot of time looking at the charts. pretty annoying right? now you just need to be a smart trader . i mean don't be greedy no matter you are a long term trader or not both are same worth but has different risk. |

Yeah you are right that the present time is very good for you to invest money in bitcoin because nowadays the bitcoin price is low, you invest in bitcoin is very easy and will be very profitable in future because now its price is low but its price is going to upwards. |

It doesn't matter if you are a long term trader or short term trader as long as you are making profit then it is good, a lot of people lose money because they are lacking of knowledge so it lead for them to be greedy and they are just taking all the risk without finding out if it is worth it or not. For me, it is worth it to invest rather than to trade because trading is riskier while investing is like trading but you are selling your coins after a long time. |
