Actually, the answer is both. When you invest your money in Bitcoin, you just wait for increasing the price of bitcoin. However, the bitcoin you have has not changed, just the value of your bitcoin has changed. This investment is like gold, eventually, it makes you happy. When you trade, the bitcoin you have can increase. It is dangerous, but in the short term, it can also make you happy.

Both ways are also risky, you should rather try trading instead 1st just try in a little amount then study the charts,research about the coins you wanted to buy.

Well i think most of the investments now needed an skills you will not succeed if you are just lazy waiting for your investment to grow.
Trading is the most easiest way to earn if you will learn and you are willing to earn although not all people are earning profit i think its because of lack of skills ,patient and knowledge to trade .

Even better if you can have someone else manage your investments for you, like through mutual funds or ETFs. If you can get something like that rolling, then you're set for what can be a lot of easy money as long as the markets stay strong. With the right people managing it (or just going for a big one like Vanguard) you can be looking at 5%+ yearly interest on your investment with little effort on your end to push it further.

If you do not know trade then you are right to not to invest in trade as if you will invest you will lose all of your capital and I think you also do not know about investing bitcoin as you do not know about the legit sites to invest that is why you are losing your money in these sites.
