Which one is good, trading or investing?

The last week it were amazing to get some easy money over almost all altcoins, i dont know why soo many of them had been pumped, anyway it were a good month to trade. If you had invested into some exchange or coin before and it were pumped you are lucky, i believe that investing is one of the most risked way to try to get some income, but its required to follow their own investment.

A good rule of thumb is that when bitcoin is doing good some of the money riding  in altcoins is going to come to bitcoin so the price of alts is going to get lower, if bitcoin is not doing very well then some money in bitcoin is going to move to alts and go up.

Either can be good.  If you have a big starting capital though, investing is probably your best choice as a lot of assets will grow over time and a lot of companies will want your money to start their business.  If you have a smaller starting capital, while trading is risky it's still probably a better option, especially if you're knowledgeable enough to make a decent profit.

I don't know why people are preferring one over another obviously  a thing you are putting your money can be best suited depending on the situation it has. An example can be if a stock or any chart of a price action shows a potential of long term up trend than it is best suited for Investing in which you hold your position for a long term before you sell it. An example that best suits trading is when you take advantage of Bitcoin's volatility which happened last week in which you have the opportunity to Buy Bitcoin below 1000$ and right now it is valued around 1200$.

Investing on what tough? If you are warren buffet I am sure investing is a lot better than trading. If you are a great trader than its better to trade than investing. It depends on what you mean. If you mean ICO than yeah trading is better than most ICO’s, if you mean casino, I think trading is still better.

I suggest everyone to get a trading bot and learn how to use it, upload to a vps and just ran that forever. That way you won’t be making bank but you will be making better interest rate than most banks.

Everyone can do the same at the same time if it's their passion, this is a very risky venture hence everyone must understand that they are taking bigger risk and it's necessary to educate themselves to make the right decision. For now, it's my major goal to raise a good capital to start my business but I cannot do it yet coming from my savings so I started trading and hope it will turn out good to realize my plan.

On the other side, Investing does not require active presense (depending on what investment you've invested for) one good example, investing in gambling bankrolls. You just invest and you can leave it there. Just need to select the legitimate investment and beware of Ponzis and other scam investment (such as Bitcoin Doubler and other scams)

investing. always focus in investing both of them are good source of money but still investing is more reliable than trading . trading has a big chances of risk than investing. even if you would wait a long time before you could get some earnings in your investment at least you could assure that you're gonna make money from it/.

Well, since you pointed it out, holding and convert bitcoin to fiat IS trading. When I said trading, what I just had in mind is cryptocurrency trading like some people here engage in.

I just made a Poliniex account yesterday and quite frankly, I don't think it's for me. Seems confusing.

Guess I'll be keeping my coins first while I look for someone to mentor me. In the meantime, I'm waiting for the next spike so I can dump some coins. I heard trading cryptos is better if you have more bitcoins and since I can only afford a few bits every

Agree with this. Trading can be considered a job while investing results in passive income with minimal effort.

I will definitely recommend trading. But you need to give time and patience for this. Another reason why i like trading because it will hone your skills to mentally, analytically and emotionally.
