Not sure if it has been reported here yet, but Poloniex is stating that ETC is broken and may need DEV involvement to fix it.  If we have any DEV's here and you haven't heard about this please reach out to Polo to see what can be done to fix the issue...

Could you please show us where Poloniex states that ETC is broken?

All I see are some statements here regarding not seeing a transaction from Poloniex.

No twitter statement.

No email notification.

No notice on Poloniex site.

I am interested to know if there actually is a problem.

My guess is that there is no issue going on, other than currently seeing red for most cryptos on Coinmarketcap.

The notice on Polo is no longer posted, but I also am not getting any of my deposits showing up.  I have opened tickets and get ZERO response from them.  And now with Trollbox gone there appears to be no way to actually get anyone to help you.  

So I flamed them today that I have multiple tickets regarding ETC deposits and they do not respond.  And there is no other way to reach them that I am aware of.  

I am moving all of my stuff to another exchange at this point.   I have had enough of the nonsense at Polo.  I don't know what is going on over there, but now there is no way to get anything looked at or resolved that I am aware of.

If anyone else is having an issue with Polo deposits please post.  I am fed up at this point and will try another exchange and just hope that my deposits that are missing eventually show up.  This is no way to run an exchange.  They need to bring Trollbox back so we at least have someone who will look at a reported issue and let us know what is going on.

Issues with deposits are obvious.

If 1/2 miners choosed poloniex as default wallet - main reason why actually can't use this exchange as it was before.


It would be great to find another wallet (should be said: warehouse): Mist, MyEtherWallet, hardware wallet. The things will be cleaned up shortly.


However mining is unaffected, you can mine ETC directly in each pool.

It has been a week now and nothing shows up. They show on block explorer but nothing on Polo.

I have asked Polo customer service but they never respond.

Same problem here, and there appears to be no way to reach anyone at Polo anymore now that Trollbox is gone.  They don't respond to tickets.  So I am moving away from Polo.  Maybe eventually they will deposit the funds that they owe me...  I have problems with both ETC and ZEC.  At least ZEC they have posted a message stating there is a problem and the wallet is under maint and needs ZEC dev support.  There was a similar message for ETC, but now that has been removed, but problem has not been fixed.

We need ETC devs to reach out to Polo and see if they need some sort of help with the ETC wallet.

Should we use bittrex for mining? Anyone has experience with bittrex accepting mining rewards? I tried reaching out to Jaxx and they were NO NO NO (we are a light wallet, don't send your mining)

We again saw a buy the rumor, sell the fact situation yesterday. I still think ETC will outperform other coins, but is also just following the market direction, currently down again

Lots of problems with polo lately. They should stop accepting new users until they will fix all issues and respond to all tickets... I think much better to use Bittrex not, it has similar volume nowadays

There is a lot of action for ETC lately. Listed on lots of asian exchanges, it will be on OKcoin on 15th, and rumors about Coinbase. If Coinbase add ETC it will probably pump like LTC did.
