I don't remember if I introduced myself when I first joined the forum a few months back, but I don't think so. I'm an (unemployed) attorney and avid homebrewer. If it were legal to do so, I would offer either service in exchange for bitcoin, but unfortunately that would be against the law. It's a pain in the ass to do all the paperwork necessary to practice law (plus expensive to get the required insurance), and it's against the law to sell homebrew at all. Down with the man, man.

I'm in the privacy business and help people with technical, legal, and financial products and services to enhance their personal privacy.
I'm trying to work my way out of here because there several items that I believe members would be interested in and I'd like to add to my BTC balance and develop a good reputation.
Frankly, I can't say I'm a big fan of the "prove yourself out of newbieland" philosophy present here, but then again, it's not my board, so I'll play by the rules.
Pleased to make your acquaintances...

Hi.
I mine whenever I'm not using my gpus for other things. Curious to see about the future of bitcoin, and am willing to bet a few bucks a month (for increased electricity costs) on it.
The main pool I use for mining posts updates here, so figured I'd register.

Hey guys, I don't want you to get to know me.
Ladies? Sure!
My name is Bob, and now you know too much. The Internet should be anonymous - user1, user2, user3, and such. I read in rhymes, everything has a rhythm to me, tell me did you just rhyme everything you see?
I just want to post in the My Little Pony megathread!!!

I'm percymate. I mine coins. Sort of libertarian leaning.
Bitcoins are friction awesome and I'm in it for the long haul.

Well, I've been interested in any form of private digital money since 1998 - back when e-gold first got started. It's been a rocky road though!
What fascinates me about Bitcoin (apart from losing a bunch of it via a hacked service) is that is is totally decentralized - no authority, no central back, no politics.
I can see how there are a lot of teething problems - scams, hacking and the like - and I wouldn't be surprised of some of this was coordinated by the "powers-that-be", in an attempt to thwart the emergence of private digital currency.
Meanwhile I'm enjoying reading the posts, and will soon set up a way to accept Bitcoins for my own online information service - on international living, and the use of offshore structures to step out from under the statist thumb as far as possible.
