Hi! I'm Andy. I love the bitconin and just started mining!

After some research I settled on;

MSI 890FXA-GD70,
AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz,
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series 1200W,
1 hd radeon 5970, 2 hd radeon 5870's and (i plan on purchasing another 5970 at some point hence the 1200wat psu),
2x4GB HyperX Genesis 4GB DDR3-1600MHz,
Corsair Carbide Series 400R Mid Tower

Currently running at 1420 Mh/s! I have done some overclocking but the cards were bought second had so i'm going to have to replace the thermal gel on the gpu itself to get better results.

Cheers!

Hello,

I first mined 50 BTC using a CPU back in the early days, lost it, then bought a GPU miner with 2x5930's which has mined almost 50 so far. I've also purchased over 100 on Tradehill. Now I am getting into FPGA mining  Smiley

Hi peeps

First post to introduce myself:

I am in the UK and heard about bitcoins for the first time recently.   Possibly interested in mining at some stage but at the moment don't think I have the hardware to earn enough.

Mainly I'm just generally curious about the whole thing and interested in a different way to invest (/gamble).

Joined the forum because I want to find out more before I risk any of my hard earned cash!

I am an anarchist and keep my money at home. Not the safest place.
I first heard of BTC 2 Years ago mentioned in a Ted speak. But didnt bother getting into it until now.

Its still very young and I hope, despite all dificulties it becomes a success.
Keeping my money safe from government and banks is a dream come true.

In the long run though, every government is going to ban the exchange of real money to BTCs. Tragically it will allways stay underground.

Hi, I've been researching Bitcoin and find it absolutely fascinating.  Other than mining, does anyone have suggestions regarding ways to make ฿?  I have already used feedzebirds.com, which was fantastic.

Cheers!

Yo! I'm Pintycar and started in this business a month ago or so. I have been assiduously reading the Speculation subforum and have a great interest in the Bitcoin development. At the moment I'm mining with two gaming PC's one with 2x5870 and the other with 1x5870. I use 950MHz core clocks and as low memory as I can get.

I would like to inform you all that bitscalper.com is back online after a small glitch this morning.

I'm also waiting for tonights show to see what kind of impact has on the volume and value of operations of next week (if any).

Peace!

Hi. I mined bitcoins a few months back but stopped because of low prices. I'm back now because of higher prices. I'm mining btc and nmc on a 6870, and ltc on a 4core 3ghz cpu. And I need moar posts.

So with all the hype this evening on the price, and with the exposure on "The Good Wife", do us newbies see the 7.20 barrier being broken by the morning? If we can break 7.20, there's enough volume for a run right up to 8 at least!

I'm new to bitcoin, though I love all that it stands for. Decentralized, anonymous, cleverly encrypted digital currency. It is so beautifully disruptive and fun!
