AltMarket is an excellent next step in the development of the company. This may be a new push and will make Tao Network more popular with many new users. Good luck guys!

Perhaps you are right, but how can this help artists? If I understand correctly, the goal of the project was to provide artists with a convenient service for interaction, monetization and copyright management, or am I somehow wrong?

You are absolutely right, DigiRAMP is what you are talking about. AltMarket is the next step of the company. They successfully launched Tao Network and XTO token. And now it is time to move forward. Not everyone is ready for that. The cryptocurrency market is reborn right before our eyes, and I believe that only companies that continue to develop and move forward will be successful.

First post here, but I'm a longtime member of the Tao community. I recently built a touchscreen stakebox that stakes Tao beautifully and a bunch of people in the community reached out to me about building them one and selling it. Parts and labor, I'd value this little beauty at around $200. I had the idea of raffling one off. Anyway; here are the rules:

One Entry is 100 Tao
To enter the raffle for a brand new stakebox, preconfigured with a blank wallet, the entry fee is 100 Tao (roughly $10 at the time of this posting)

Don't lose the Transaction ID!
That is your ticket! If you plan on doing multiple entries, please do separate transactions for each entry.

Post Transaction ID
Once you send your entry fee post the transaction ID here or send it to me on Discord/Slack Tao communities. I will update the Google Doc manually each day with entries, so if you don't see your entry show up asap don't be alarmed.

On May 22nd, I will use a randomizer, film the process, and post the winner. If you enter this raffle, please be sure to shoot me your mailing address in case you win!

The Tao Address for entry is:
TvR51FTTxSNrNFbg7hHiGfK3hQtRmZHMrk

Google Doc of current entries

Best of luck! Winner announced on May 22nd at 12:00 PM PST

Just a reminder that people can enter this raffle to win a Raspberry Pi stakebox. Instructions above, direct any questions to ppmcghee.  Smiley

The APIs have been updated. Below quote from Bryce on the Slack:

https://api.alt.market/

curl -X GET “https://api.alt.market/ohlc/tao_btc/2019-05-17T04%3A59” -H “accept: application/json”

OHLCV charting data for any given minute since the exchange has been in operation
I haven’t published the new docs yet, but that’s new new data is published every minute

curl -X GET “https://api.alt.market/time” -H “accept: application/json”

Current server time, also new
OHLCV will evolve to include other parameters like time frame and resolution

If you're wondering about the basis of this claim, Peter Rafelson is the son of Bob Rafelson, who produced Easy Rider:

 Cool

$TAO ===> MAKE A NOISE

It's funny you picked the famous "proof of concept or GTFO" speech, considering Bryce released the proof of concept for Tao, AltMarket, etc. back in 2016. Amazingly further along the path now. And of course more recently ODBcoin was the proof of concept for the artist tokens.

So in reality, it's more like

$TAO = Make MUSIC  Cool

You know they have a media studio in Hollywood, right?

You know about the Infiniti Music recording label, and the Infiniti Fest coming in 2020?

Make sure you get yourself at least 100,000 TAO so you qualify for Diamond membership - Diamonds get to go to the festival for free:

More alts are coming to the AltMarket soon and Tao will be the base for trading pairs just as it already is with ODBcoin, which means you can trade them for Tao and work towards your diamond:

Tao has been added to FreiExchange, literally hours ago so there's no orders on the books yet as I post this:

https://freiexchange.com/market/XTO/BTC

Volume's been picking up on the AltMarket and it looks like it should get added to CMC soon.

Good things come to those who wait.  Smiley

No, you are correct; it's just that not everything has been seen publicly yet.

Here's a preview that was seen in the slack earlier this month:

This is what he was referring to, posted in the slack on May 17th:

Anyway, he wasn't blaming people holding the coin, he was blaming the tedious and confused fudders and trolls like your good self.

I actually just met Bryce in person yesterday and he showed me something very cool I can't tell you about now, but you'll see pretty soon.  I will say that it relates to this tweet:

call me names and dismiss this news if you insist, but Bryce's words, actions, and inactions, speak for themselves.
how could you not be concerned that the lead (sole?) developer and father of this whole project has been considering abandoning the coin because he doesn't like what his own supporters are saying to him during the worst price decline in the history of the asset?

furthermore, you're trying to reassure us that its all good because one day he threatened to ditch TAO and launch a new coin, then the next day reneged on the threat with an "lol."  This kind of erratic wild-card behavior is not what makes an effective leader, its some donald trump shit.  consistency and stoicism would be a great start, but I don't see that happening.

Well, I wouldn't say it was name calling so much as a description of your behavior but, OK. Again, he didn't consider abandoning it. I didn't take it seriously, I'm not sure why you did.

Not sure what you mean about the worst price decline, not that that says much about the success of the project anyway. In the last 24 hours it's been trading between 1100 and 1499 sats, with a nice little .131 BTC buy wall at 1100 sats right now.

Seems fine to me considering where we are in the market cycles and with a lack of current hype to placate the easily distracted crypto traders.

Dump your bags into that buy order if you're so easily spooked. Problem solved and we can all get on with our lives.  Cool

You're right Mr Matty, he is a wild card, but you do have to retain some common sense. This is the coin that Bryce has spent the longest on, it's the one with 3 years of community building, the one he that has integrated into his other companies infrastructure, and as he Bryce has repeatedly stated, it's the one that holds the title "Bryce's final product". He's not our leader or sole developer, he's a solid chap who's part of the community that just so happens to be using Tao with his other businesses. I'm aiming to do the same.

If you're gonna take what was clearly a motivational tool so literally, I'd love to set you up with my friend Amelia Bedelia, you'd get along like a house on fire (Wait!)

Fair enough. I don't necessarily agree with everything he does, but I think his comment and the shutdown of the discord were born from the endless negativity coming from several very vocal people. Like it or not I suspect his comment probably drove them out. I never took it as a serious threat, but obviously ymmv.

Hello everyone, guys! I'm new here, so I would like to know about the features of this project. What is his idea and how can I contribute to its development? What can you tell me about this?
