I kind of played with wattool and polaris editor and I reached the next resulting.

6x + 470 Sapphire Nintro 8 gb
ASRock B85 ANNIVERSARY
Intel Pentium G3250T @ 2.8GHz

162-165 Mh / s on Claymore dual 8.1 @ 669 watts on the wall  Grin

per card 27+

cca 101-103w per card, Others consume the rest of the system

gpu core 1050 / 820mV
mem samsung 2050 (strap 1625) 900mV

For me, the main energy saving and efficiency.

I always used rx 480 cards for my builds in the past , few days ago received my first rx 470 nitro cards order for my new build.
My first priority was optimizing the bios for ETH mining with low power consumption and high MH/s
GPU-z reporting 75.6 watts , the card real wattage is around 100-110 watts / card .
( Test bench idle power draw at the wall 68-72 watts , with gpu hashing total wattage is 170-175 watts at the wall )
I was able to push the card to the 29.5-29.8 MH/s range , with much more power draw , but never checked the stability on that speed , it was running for 15-20 minutes without any problem .
Played with the bios / timing / voltage , created a modded bios , there is my result :
If im not using the computer to taking screenshot's Smiley the hash rate is stable in the 29.2-29.4 MH/s range

First copied 1750 mem strap to 2000 (tried 1625 also), also unlocked the max mem frequency, then flashed the bios , then played  a few days with wattman, watttool , afterburner to find out the "sweat spot" for gpu frequency/voltage , mem frequency/voltage , max undervolting i can archive without stability issue. After 24-36 hours stable run , modded the bios with those numbers i got from watttman ,watttools,  afterburner.

Used the card for another 36 hours on my single card setup test bench mining ETH , after 36 hours stable mining on the test bench, i built a 7 cards rig from RX470/8GB cards Smiley

Sorry im not going to share my modded bios. The main reason is : its not working with all of my cards , i ordered 7 cards for the new rig i built , its ok for 5 cards , but the another two give me some stability issues , so with that cards i had to do the same process again to find the " sweet spot " numbers ...
If you can not mod ur bios with basic tools, u can not fix it if something going bad with the flashing process ... or the modded bios is to heavy for your cards and u bricked your cards ...

Well I'm able to get a whole 26 Mh/s but with very much power consumption, otherwise it crashes. Since I don't like power-eating configuration, I go with the under-volted configuration and attain only 23.5 Mh/s.

7 x MSI RX 470 Gaming X 4GB
Al Hynix Memory

Using custom 1625 strap. All mods done in the bios and used on all cards except 1, which I had to "degrade" slightly.
1160 watts at the wall.

This is a nice first try, but you can decrease the wattage dramatically. You can have similar hash rates with 800W

I got it down to 991 watts at the wall. My PSU says it is using 900 watts. I have a smaller platinum PSU which is only running at 90% eff.

What else can I / Should I do?
