I'm building my first rig with 4xGigabyte Wind force OC 3gb cards in the next week or two. Are people still getting upwards of 21MHs on these with some overclocking?
I'm a little concerned about cooling. They'll be quite close together but I'll have 3 additional 120mm fans to cool it. I should be ok, right?

I read this article ( http://www.legitreviews.com/geforce-gtx-1070-ethereum-mining-small-tweaks-great-hashrate-low-power_195451), where it seems to stable at 70C, but some feedback from someone using these cards would be helpful!

Do any of you use Linux mining with the 1060? If so, what do you use to overclock?

GTX 1060 usually mine ~22 Mh/s with about 70-80W.

117W On the wall for the whole rig, 72W only for the card.

ETH mining only scales with memory not with core, so the TDP has no influence on the result.

Is that with memory quantity or speed? Would the 9Gbps cards have a higher hashrate than the existing ones?

Speed. Yes the 9Gbps card would be faster but imho its more efficient to overclock a normal 1060 and save the money.

How much faster would a 9Gbps card be in ETH and ZEC? What are your opinions on the cards: 1060 6GB Gigabyte: G1 Gaming Windforce OC 2 Gaming Extreme Aorus 6G 9 Gbps Msi: Armor OC V1 Gaming X Asus: Dual Difference from the cheapest to the most expensive is $ 360-405 I think the MSI gaming is the best for the money, because of its cooling, what kind of memory can i expect on it? What do you think of the most expensive Aorus with 3 vents and 9Gpbs, it is $15 more expensive than the MSI gaming X If its faster in mining, it would pay for itself, i would like to see at least 23-24 ETH and 330-340 ZEC when OCed

You can get 23MH/S from regular 1060 No idea for 9gbps cards

I would try to get a used GTX 1060. The cheaper, the better. The more you spent on the card, the longer it will take until you reach the ROI. As clock rate is irrelevant, the cheap models are fine as you do not need to overclock and hence do not need best colling solution. Which RAM is used is just luck. Even on check cards from Palit and PNY you can have Samsung chips. Most 1060 seem to have Samsung chips.

since there are no used cards available here, i have to get the new ones, so i thought ill give 20 bucks more fore better Gaming version than the cheapest Armor because it will sell better later(everyone will have cheapest versions for sell, and ill have a bit better ), and also cooling will be no problem and fans will last longer.. Also with new cards, if the memory isnt right i can return them i am actually selling my RX480/470 rig to get the 1060s, it will cost me the same for same hashrate (ETH), 1 1060 more then RX rig. but i will be ready for ETH drop in a month(because of those DAG epochs 140+), and 1060s 6G will sell better to gamers and will be worth more than RX 4G at that point i will also be able to mine ZEC, im just not sure if RX have more alternative altcoins to mine than the NV?

I ordered 3 GTX 1060 with 3GB for 200€. 6GB version sells for 280+. Even if the 3GB will sell worse in a few months, I do not think that the 6GB is worth the money. However, I do not mine ETH but XMR, for ETH the 3GB could become a problem if the blockchain keeps their growing rate ^^

If you fix the GPUs at a lower voltage, you should be able to stay below 600W.
