Depends on memory type. Samsung best Micron good Hynix lowest
Then we put memory OC into the end result.

I have GTX 1060 6GB mining through ubuntu minergate.. ASROCK h81 BTC 2.0
Only 15Mh in ether mining from one Graphics so i wan to know is it right or i have some issue...
Guys please help me is it right or not
You should be definately getting more from mining ethereum. Im currently running a zotac GTX 1060 3gb card and im currently getting 23 MH/s. If you running a 1060 you should be able to push it to 26mh/s Im currently running claymore dual miner version 10 and more core clock is +100 and +500 on memory clocks on the card to reach that amount. Sure its a 1 fan card so it will get hot so I stuck a desk fan to cool the card down. PNY 1060 6GB with dual fan getting 15 MH/s. ASROCK h81 BTC 2.0 Os: Ubunut 16.04 Mining : MinerGate

Try TDP 75, mem +200mhz (real speed for linux) for starters. Core does not matter much for Eth. But if you memory is Hynix, don't expect more than may be 17-18.
Or switch to equihash algorithm coin. TDP 75, mem +200, core +100 for starting point.
Or if you have very cheap electricity don't touch TDP.

Sorry for confusion. Pc memory does not matter. The video card has its own memory and it can be Samsung micron or hynix. Hynix has lowest hashrate for ethereum. But you can see the type in windows only by using gpuz program. I don't think you can see in Linux. That will tell you whether it's worth the efforts to over clock much or not. It is also possible you have not oveclocked anything thus the lower hashrate (if you have micron or Samsung memory)
If you switch to other coin not using the eth algorithm it would not matter the memory.

Hello, are the micron or hynix memory much slower for other crypto mining too like Zclassic, BTC or Monero? Thank's

Wow, theres so much great information that i collect from this thread, Many peoples like to share about Vga and their hashrate to do mining, Im new about this business, and im very thankful about you all that sharing information here. Keep it up friends, like to share with you all.

Looks like for skunk hash algorithms, i have to use +core and +mem to get optimal hash rate.

Hello, are the micron or hynix memory much slower for other crypto mining too like Zclassic, BTC or Monero? Thank's For ZEC the core clock is more important than the memory clock, as of my experience - there is no big deal for memory: I usually put all my efforts to fine core and voltage overclocking. Okay thank's man. So the 1060 6GB is still a good investment for most cryptocurrencies?

It's stable, handles dual mining well, generally a low energy user (and can be set to be even moreso), etc. But at current prices I'd say spend a bit more and go with 1070s, more expensive upfront and a higher energy bill, but once you hit ROI you'll make way more off them.

I'm currently mining ITNS with 2 GEFORCE 1060s and averaging around 900 h/s. This is my first mining rig and not sure if I can get a better hash rate by optimizing or overclocking the Gpus. Should I let them mine as is or would yous recommend trying to improve the hash rate?

That's about right. You can may be squeeze a bit more but do not expect 600 700. I get around 470 with TDP 50. 70watts consumption.on 1060 ssc 6gb.

Your GPU has Hynix VRAM, with loose memory timings. At most OC, it would barely push 19 MH/s. With Hynix memory, look for core-intensive algos (Equihash, NeoScrypt, Lyra2REv2, etc). You'll get 10-15% higher hashrate on these algos vs a 3GB GPU (6GB cards have more CUDA cores).

Dagger-Rig [DualMining /w Pascal (-dcri 20)]:
3x Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1060 3GB [SAMSUNG] @65TDP/CrCl+160/MmCl+700 2x KFA2 GeForce GTX 1060 OC 6GB [MICRON] @65TDP/CrCl+160/MmCl+700 1x PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 1060 OC GAMING 6GB [MICRON] @65TDP/CrCl+150/MmCl+650
Equally distributed 139MH/s (23.2/card) ethash + 920 MH/s (155/card) pascal. Runs around 24.3 MH/s/card in SingleEthMode. Rig overall power consumption from the wall: 540W (3.72W/MHs)
Equihash-Rig:
6x KFA2 GeForce GTX 1060 OC 6GB [HYNIX] @65TDP/CrCl+165/MmCl+300
1775 Sol/s (293/card). Rig overall power consumption from the wall: 500W. (3.55 Sol/W) [Runs with a low power consuming Intel "T" CPU]
Just keep the HYNIX cards. If you start returning them hoping for Samsung/Micron your rig will probably never go online and you'll miss profit everyday. Just mine ZClassic/Hush/BTG.
Haven't tried other algos (neoscrypt, skunkhash, lyra etc.), though.

I get around 19mh/s on ethereum @80Wish (and other ethash coins) with globalpowertune 80 and globalmem +440 in Ethos on my Hynix cards. Same settings give me 22-23 on my Samsung cards.
