Hi,

Just wondering if I can get out of here as I would like to add to this thread

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=13211.0

I have an Imac as well (not the same model) and would like to get a bit of info on if it's advisable for me to be mining on it at all.

Hello, I would like to request to be released. I have been recently working within the silver community (tough crowd) to bring information about Bitcoin in a fair way. I am definitely a supporter of Bitcoin and would LOVE to see this thing succeed! I have some real concerns about future governmental regulations on Bitcoins that I am anxious to discuss. The silver community has been getting hammered by manipulations in the markets with no help from the government and so there is natural mutual interests between the two communities!

Thanks for your consideration.

I would like to be white listed because I have some suggestions for improvements that I would like to post in the appropriate forum.  I am the op of #bitcoin-help on dalnet, and do not make a habit of being destructive in my work environments (of which I consider this one).  I have a postive rating in the WoT, although newish (I have been invited into -otc because of my ethic).  I am hoping these alone will be enough.

However, since the post said knowledge of the system is a good thing, the first thing I did when it took 6 hours for my first confirmation was to checkout the bitcoin unconfirmed list on bccharts to see what was happening and discovered that it was pretty far down the priority list.. which brings me to why i want to post in suggestions Smiley

I appreciate your attention on my request.

Ps.  Im not a 'forum' type guy.  Im very business oriented so only tend to post when there is a specific need to, as such im not considered 'friendly' but neither can i be considered a flamer of any type of sort, nor one to waste your time with useless dribble.

Hi,
I'm Strycora, and I have everything set up for mining bitcoins in the pool, except a specific difficulty regarding the GUI mining, because I can't seem to connect. I wouldn't be asking for this early if I didn't need immediate help.

Hello, i am a typical miner with about 1GH/s mining rig, i ask you to release me from newbie cage since it is impossible for me to post in mining section, and that is what i am about to do.

I myself found bitcoins a very good and honest currency, much better than others we have. I am telling to other people about them, and all of them gets encouraged and wishes success to bitcoins.

I am having technical issues with connecting to slush's pool. The error I am getting is this:
[6/13/11 8:34:14 PM] ERROR: Can't connect to Bitcoin: Bitcoin returned unparsable JSON

So, I need access to the tech support forum so i can figure out why I am seeing this but noone else is.

Hi I would like access to the forums for several reasons.

1. I have recently invested in mining hardware and want to continue discussing with the community about this.

2. I am trying to get my own company accepting bitcoins.

3. I am working on developing mobile software for pool miners and would like to announce it soon.

I'm fairly new to the community but I support bitcoins 100% and wish to have full community benefits ;-)

Start a new topic in the Newbies thread and post some info about your operating system, setup, etc. By the time we figure out what is going on you will likely have enough posts to escape the Newbie subforum. Smiley

Hi there, i would like out of here for the following reasons:

1. I have read up quite a bit on these forums, and other sources.
2. I have not amassed my 5 hours yet because I am busy working on a difficult course at work, and it doesn't seem to double increment my time for following threads in different windows.. (thus not refreshing steadily over time like I would in one thread researching)
2.a. And i have to keep hammering away at my RelVel and Rules of the road study materials... exams are coming soon.
3. My pool's forum is a forum on this site, and as such I would really like to be able to respond to their posts. (mining for bitcoins.lc); and
4. Pretty please with sugar on top.

Thank you for your time.

Hi,

please whitelist me. I want to participate in the FPGA open source miner discussion. I have some experience in FPGA verilog design with Altera CycloneII devices. I have been looking for possible FPGA boards readily available in the market for a competetive price and have found this one:
http://www.cesys.biz/epages/61591539.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61591539/Products/C1030-2805

I my opinion with 500K LEs it should offer the same $/MHs (~1$/MHz) ratio as top end graphics cards while consuming much less power. However it is a Xilinx FPGA (that I do not know so well) and I want to discuss this with the members of the above mentioned thread, but cannot due to newby restrictions.

I registered well over a month ago! You can look at my 2 perfectly legitimate previous posts for reference. Now I wish to comment on Luke-Jr's new MaxPPS system in the Eligius thread. Thanks!
