Now I wish to comment on Luke-Jr's new MaxPPS system in the Eligius thread. Thanks!

I wish to comment on that too.
And I just made five posts where I tried to contribute something Smiley

This thread reminds me of the Communist Party for some reason.

What's up!

I want to post in the BPM / slush thread because I have written a nice little Mac OS widget people can use to watch their stats. Perhaps I will add individual worker support later. Here's a screenshot:

I was surprised that this hasn't been done to death, apparently!

Can you please whitelist me. I am new to bit coin but in the past week I have put together a rig with 2x6990's, got it up and running mining solo, I ended up moving to the Eligius pool yesterday. After troubleshooting network problems that I traced to a bad cable modem, and fixing the python startup scripts that were supposedly written for the card and miner. I had never written python before, only Ruby and Rails. I won't post idiotic replies, I pretty much stick to business in these forums.

Hey, I'd like to be whitelisted to post on the Eligius thread. I started mining about a week ago and I've been in the Eligius pool for 3 days but they've made some changes to the system so I'd like to add my voice to the thread especially since I'm now trying to establish averages for my earnings.

I've been around since February and mining ever since. What is the criteria to be considered a newbie? I want to post to the deepbit thread since I have used them for so long and am experiencing issues.

Hello Bitcoin Forum,

I would like to request placement on the 'Whitelist' to contribute to the thread SmartCoin - A simple, robust mining system for Linux. Any interest?.

I had originally planed to introduce myself and go through the normal hoops, but this topic came up and it is in line with my own work.  I have tried Linuxcoin with little success and feel a live version of a system with this software could be beneficial to the community.

Thank you for your help and hope to be of one.

Hello there,

I'm a bitcoin n00b but a very experienced software developer. I've installed the poclbm libraries and application as detailed here:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=12360

I am now mining at about 6 MHashes but have some questions. Maybe they can be answered here, or I can post my questions in the original thread if I am whitelisted.

My question is: How do I know when I generate bitcoins? Will the balance in my Bitcoin client magically go up? Also, what's a probable pay out wait time for a computer such as mine doing 6 MHashes? A month? 6 months? I know it's random, but a likely ballpark.

Thank you!

I've had the bit torrent client running for nearly a year now and no bitcoins so since the market crashed, I've decided to buy in instead.  I only have paypal though so I was hoping to post a request to buy bitcoins via paypal on this thread:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=1561.300

As the price of bitcoins is pretty fluid right now, I'd really like to post as soon as humanly possible.  Thanks for your time!

I would like to be white listed.

I find the same threads created over and over to be as annoying as well.  I have a bug I'd like to report about the software detailed here:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/?topic=5506.0

Thanks

Hello, a friend of mine just started his BTC trading portal, he offers one of the best rates for buying and selling. I would really like to share it with the bitcoin community, so we can all take advantage of it! Thank you.

Hey I'd like to be able to post freely. While I'm new and haven't had an account here long, I actually had an account before this lockdown...

I'm a software developer working on a fully-featured Android client, for BTC or LULZ. I'll be participating more when I have something to share I promise.

Thanks!
