Besides the market making I have registered around 30 bitcoin www-addresses. That I will start making active as commercial and maybe even some kind of business (looking at which idea/address that has the biggest potential).

Good day

My account "silverchair" was banned yesterday to post on forums and send PMs for 14 days due to spamming, hoping that you could see and check my post on forums. I honestly am not a spammer and i am only promoting a credible site Forbitcoin.com and bitcoins as well by offering help to newbies through sending bitcoin ebooks to those who want to learn about bitcoins. Please enable posting on forums and sending PMs to my account "silverchair".

Hoping for your consideration and understanding.

Sincerely,

silverchair

I am most interested in the future of Bitcoins in the aspect of gambling and the haven it provides for anybody who is willing to risk their money in this frontier. The lack of regularization makes me very excited to witness forthcoming of a time where we will not be limited by our government (as much) in our quest to fulfill our own desires. I would very much like to get in on those conversations should I be whitelisted. Thanks for your time.

Be excellent to each other.

I wouldn't mind out of Newbie jail.  I have been lurking this forum for well over 4 hours.  The reason I decided to signup was to ask MiningMonitor what they need from a pool API to get full stats are.  I wouldn't mind helping develop to expand their reach.

I would like to take part on the linux coin forum board where I have been figuring out linux and helping write some of the wiki. I would appreciate interacting with more people and being able to update what I have contributed to those most likely to look, and also to get feedback from others.

There are some snags with compiling popular mining code for Mac OS X, which is a proper Unix but needs some tricks before 'pure' Linux source will instantly work. I have a large number of Macs and know Unix properly i.e. not the typical 'can't use Terminal' Mac user.

The threads I want to contribute to are in the Mining forum, specifically regarding compiling jwasm for OS X and getting the optimised CPU miners working properly.

Mac boxes are never going to be the top dogs with GPU mining due to the difficulty (impossibility?) of overclocking the few available Mac-version Radeon cards. However Mac Pros are damn good workstations with proper Xeon CPUs. Even getting a few tens of MH/s from a Mac Pro would be useful if, say, you had an office with a few tens of Mac Pro workstations Wink

Incidentally, I've made more than 5 posts but still confined... there's a real issue here with a LOT of good information stuck in the 'free-for-all' newbie section, which will no doubt get lost if the posters can't be bothered to 'be accepted into the clique' - unless the moderators move very useful threads. Then the other newbies who were contributing to the thread are locked out. Doesn't seem particularly inclusive to me, and sounds like a lot of work for the mods.

Just my opinion - and even though I've posted here, this isn't a begging request to be allowed into the main forums, as I don't beg. I'm just trying to highlight that useful information is split across forums now. The recent thread discussing the 'new' 5850 'Extreme' version Sapphire are selling is a case in point. I have the old card with an impressive overclock running well... but the new card looks like it may be better in this respect. And they're £120 in the UK. However the OP on that thread may not continue to contribute, sadly.

Also, isn't it rather odd to have a authoritarian, strictly hierarchical forum structure when we're discussing a decentralised, non-hierarchical currency competitor?

...so I give in to the rhythm, the click click clack
I'm too wasted to fight back...

Heya,

I've spend a good time on these (and other) forums, accumulating some good background knowledge, I'd say... don't really have massive GPUs at hand to do crazy-scaled mining, but I'm still very interested in the concept of Bitcoin, and the possibilities, so I felt I'll create an account and offer some of my shit for bitcoins in the market forums - only to find out at the terms of service that I should've registred a few weeks back to be able to immediately. I don't think anyone would gain anything from me doing four spam posts that aren't really asked for, or me sitting on the frontpage and clicking the refresh button for three more hours... so yeah, please whitelist me in the interest of everyone? ^^

I am not a newbie, but I setup a new account to provide better identification.  I posted it the business section, but figured I should post here as well.

The initial beta release of BitcoinLocator will be going live in only a few hours.  We'll wait until I'm out of the Newbie area so I can announce it wide.  So here I am making posts, and burning time to get full access.

Watch out for the upcoming announcement.
