Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

JL777 is not doing GUI development, Iguana GUI is being worked on by Boogieman and EasyDex GUI is being worked on by grewalsatinder. He completed his part of the work, now the other developers are working to bring it to the finish line. Coding takes time, and its better to have a project with no/little bugs than to have to issue constant updates to fix bugs in a rushed release. Be patient.
Again, missing the point. Everybody knows he doesn't do GUI, so no need to repeat. Not trying to rush anything or be impatient. Just curious how well he can keep his word, that's all. It gives us an idea of how likely things that he say will happen, will actually happen.

I suspect substation profit taking for the first 2-3 weeks KMD is listed. Can someone from the team confirm the exact BTCD to KMD redeem price formula to be:
0.00532074(+bonus)*[[1 - [((My Swap Day) - (1st Day of Swap))*0.05]/365]]

I "know" James now since August 2014 and all he is doing, day in day out, is coding, coding and bugfixing. On his own! He started the SuperNET project and within that project he started a lot of other little to normal projects, but all related to SuperNET. At one point even i thought that he wouldn't make it. Too many things here and there. But i've been busy for almost a week now with building notary nodes and i must say, it is pretty damn impressive what he has achieved already. Everything is still related to SuperNET/BTCD only now i see finally the connection between all of his work of the past years. Yeah, BTCD got a new name and some things have changed, but that was mainly because NXT is following another path and James had to do something. And the outcome is very impressive. So, about your question if he can keep up his word. I'm very sure about that one, right now. Check his Github and see there his work. Do you really think he would abandon his work now after 2 years of coding without even being on an holiday (as far as i know)? No, if there was a decentralised bet about if he would make it or not, i would place ALL my BTC's on YES. There is NO doubt, for me, that he wouldn't finish this product. Or something bad would happen to him. That would be the only reason why this project wouldn't end, because it is too big for someone to pick it up and finish it. Do not forget one thing. He codes this all alone! And for that he is for me one of the biggest coders of the world. Also a very n00b friendly one. I'm in for Komodo and if you want my advice (you don't have to take it) then you should do it also. https://blockchain.info/address/1P3rU1Nk1pmc2BiWC8dEy9bZa1ZbMp5jfg

Hey guys, would anybody of you be so kind to tell me how to participate in this ICO. I have understood the conditions, but I haven't found any information on where to send the bitcoin or what to do in general. I have just heard that you have to register your e-mail address somewhere and then you will get instructions. I would love to be prepared well in order not to miss the maximum bonus and since the ICO will start in around 30 hours, I would love to know what I am supposed to do to take part in it. Any answer is appreciated a lot.

Follow the countdown at komodoplatform.com, at the very second it shows 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds the ICO will begin. Then a link will appear that will take you to the ICO site, where you can register with your email and proceed according to the instructions.

However it makes me think back to when instantdex had some really really nice pictures of it's development before it pulled a southpark ( annnd...it's gone). Would video evidence be better , probably? Maybe even a third party software reviewer we all know and trust to give it the thumbs up would be nice. However it looks like its just down to a leap of faith, which makes for some good gambling. Good luck, I hope it gets there.

In the case of instantdex there was a single guy working on it, he used to disappear for weeks at a time and there were still many issues when he quitted. This time there's a team of freelancers with frequent updates and only minor bugs remaining. Very different situation. The interactive preview says a lot: https://projects.invisionapp.com/share/WF8ST5V5J

We have now updated our homepage with a bit longer descriptions about some of our team members. Don't expect to find real photos and passport photos though That's what we have now, but we will try to expand it later with new descriptions. We were also thinking about creating links to various places, like forum profiles and possibly linkedin profiles (for those who have them). For now however there's just a short description! Meet the teamWe also warmly welcome everyone to join our Slack, where we all are every day.

Hey Komodo team, I have seen JL777 in Byteball thread and would like to ask, what do you guys plan to do with Byteballs. ICO account of KOMODO will surely get some nice chunk of Byteball. Is there any chance that you would distribute BYTE to ICO participants? It would be win win situation as some people might not invest in ICO because of BYTE distribution.

No promises, but if the max is raised, then it is much more likely to happen. My thinking is that if not enough is raised, then we would need extra income. But in the max raise scenario, it wont be needed. Also, timeframe would need to be as a background priority and it cant take away from komodo development

I decided to totally change the low level transport, which ended up requiring changing one third of the dPoW code. Now instead of using a NOTARY virtual coin, I use a nanomsg bus topology. A bit too tired to write lots of details now, but with the new bus topology, just need to verify that it can handle up to 33 signers. I coded up a duplicate filter, but it ended up filtering out too much. So the duplicate filter is disabled for now. However, the notary servers have plenty of bandwidth so even without a duplicate filter, I dont think there will be a problem. Still, I like things to be efficient, so I will likely improve it a bit more.

For those who worry about GUI status, keep in mind that dPoW will be fully functional without any GUI at all. While it would be cool to get color coded block explorers that show notarized status, the dPoW protection will be in effect even without any GUI.
Other than that, there really isnt much GUI required for dPoW.
All of the notary node side operations are fully automated once a node is setup, with the exception of funding the BTC needed for txfees.

Hello Komodo, I went to the https://komodoplatform.com/ earlier today and was able to create an account for the ICO... It gave me a BTC deposit address of 12mNnWLKd5tBbNPt7HNEBu41zKde235UgA https://blockchain.info/address/12mNnWLKd5tBbNPt7HNEBu41zKde235UgAI deposited 1.07959034 BTC to this address... Am I scammed? Were you guys testing and mistakenly put up the ICO page? The BTC I moved to that address is already gone. It was moved to 35Rwwc9e2Mj7smFXJ1iXF826cMW3tqfz6x which has about 300BTC... Please tell me you guys didn't redirect your domain to some kind of scam and that my BTC deposited is safe. Even if it was during a test run, please tell me my BTC is safe... : / JL777!!!
