Is Paypal a scam?

All my transactions with paypal were completed, i just lost some money using them because my account werent verified and i couldnt moove the money from it into payza or any other account. But paypal is legit companie if you have been scammed with their policy that protectes the buyer, its another question, but they are in the market and top payment processor using fiat.

Of course you can not use the facility in full if your account has not been verified. Therefore if you want to get ease in using paypal you have to do verification

There is nothing wrong to have a verification about the person identity, because it's been functioning as a cross border transaction provider with tieup with several corporate firms around the world. Its an legalized service provider, which can never go scamming the users. It needs reputation to be successful and long running.

PayPal itself is nothing wrong with, but the fact that people quite often get scammed due to evil minded thieves charging back on innocent people, is a major point of concern.

Another negative point when it comes to PayPal is that the selling party doesn't get the same level of protection as buyers do.

That's why Bitcoin in this regard can fulfill the needs of these sellers. Every received transaction is fully in ownership of the selling party at the time it is confirmed.

Read and understand the terms of service. If you follow the rules, you'll be fine.

It is really good to follow the terms and service of all the organisations but PayPal terms states that there is something called seller protection, but even though i provided all the proofs and receipts the buyer still won the dispute. PayPal totally follow that 'consumers are king'

It's unfair, PayPal is not seeing the side of those people that are being victimized by those dispute abusers. That's why I stopped using them already because if I will keep on using them, they are the biggest contributor of my headache. But they are a legit service and they are running for years, but this is a problem that they need to do something.

I very often heard contradictory stories about the payment system "pay pal." But I do not think that the interest or the speed of the system to pay has the purpose of fraud.

True paypal is the best payment processor for now. Proven paypal is in the top position in the best payment method. And they have very strict and secure rules.

Paypal is a incredibly safe service to use. It is very hard for online merchants to scam you of your money because you are able to easily dispute the payment with them. Paypal usually sides with the customer so most scammers avoid using paypal for transactions. you should be careful if someone asks you to pay them as friends and family though because you can't dispute those transactions.

Not to mention the sheer number of online merchants who accept paypal as a payment method make it a credible service. Its also made by Elon Musk so you can definitely be at ease that Paypal is not a scam.

Yes that is true, is it very impossible for paypal to scam people because they are so transparent to the informations of their company like who is the owner of their site and how they do things about paypal. Those who often says paypal is scam are just victimized of the scammers thru paypal so they are transferring the accusation to paypal.

Certainly not impossible. Granted, I and many other users have used PayPal and trust them enough with our information, but there can still be corruption inside the company. It doesn't even have to be at the top level. Any level of management could take advantage of whatever they may have access to if there aren't enough internal controls in place, but given how successful PayPal has been so far it seems quite unlikely that this is the case.

if it is a scam, It could be closed long time ago. paypal is running for about a decades now so it is completely not a scam. maybe you just experienced encertainty about the site but im sure that it is not a scam at all.

This modern times is not within our control and with regards to paypal asking question about paypal is scam, well I say it's definitely not. Some people uses paypal to scam because it's more vulnerable due to online transaction wasn't transparent at all and trust is the only importany part; and some of those scammers were taking advantage of what do they benefit from those innoceny customers need bitcoin transaction from paypal.

Paypal is a legit company. As long as I use bitcoin,  you never cheated by their rules. If you want to follow their rules and do not violate the TOS then paypal will never harm you

Paypal is a legit company. As long as I use bitcoin,  you never cheated by their rules. If you want to follow their rules and do not violate the TOS then paypal will never harm you

As quoted PayPal is legit and the usage depends based on the users involved into it for different transactions. It has provided with one of the best chargeback option. Some scammers use this as an way to cheat the users. Because of this reason several people consider and report it as a scam.

Well you have some point about in paypal disadvantage vs bitcoin. As i can say Bitcoin is much more realible than paypal because as what we see now. You can determined that bitcoin have been incresing its community. Many countries recognizes bitcoin now so its plus in demand of bitcoin

No ,If paypal was a scam then it must have been closed by online government for violations but its still alive and got many supporters,each error on your account must have an valid reason contact support

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

I don't think so , Paypal is legit company , maybe you do not follow the rules or violate the TOS .If paypal is indeed doing the scam is like suicide

Paypal is not a scam indeed its the safest wallet in the internet. If anyone tries to login at your account with different ip that you use to login, they can login but it requires verification process.
