Am i the only one that does not like higher speeds?  If the new miner is faster and everyone is using the new miner then we do not benefit and our electric bill rises?  my stock 4gb 480s went from 42h/s to 54h/s

When we were on V1 -- lower fan speeds, lower noise, lower utility bill.  If i dont switch to v3 i lose profit -- but if we had all stayed on v1 -- we would all be better off
By all mean, stay on v1.
No one is forcing you.
Go to what to mine website and enter your old numbers and new ones.
You will know for sure hiw much you make per rig/version used.
For me i make more profit with v3 even tho it takes more electricity.
Plus its winter bere, heat my whole house for free lol

Care to share this BIOS mod?

Claymore - 3.1 is way more stable.  Can even run on i2 now.  Thanks again.  Keep bring the improvements.
I have rx480oc 8 gigs get pretty nice speed, 80 per gpu
But if I use tge -i 2 i lose speed instead .
I have 16 gigs ram and virtual set to 32.
But weak cpu, just a celeron.

Is it because of my cpu ?
Thanks

What BIOS rom and settings are You using?

core, mem, vcore and vmem? i only can hit the 62Hs with my 480 nitro 8GB Tongue
All i changed is the mod bios from when i was mining eth
And the -mclock 2150
But as soon as i put the -i 2 in there speed drops to 60 sols per gpu

Yes I confirmed it after some research.

Your researches, they have something to do with recent nethash behaviour?

If your hash rises 20% and your bill rises 20%...you're still good. And you can always downclock

To Claymore:

Do you think we are getting saturation point with RX 480 cards?

Or in v. 4.0 you can squeeze more?

p.s. perfect job as usual

Is it possible to make restart whole rig when miner stops ( i.e. from -WD something ) ?? Clay?
yes you can do it . read Readme File.
I know that but I meant just command like "wd 1r" - a simple way to restart rig ...

Great job @claymore. 3.1 worked out the kinks introduced in v3.0.

I'll post on  Friday I'm getting R7 370 4GB, most likely Hynix of Elpida memory
R7 370 with 2GB, 1040/1425 -> 37 - 40 H/s using v3.1 with -i 0. -i 1 does not help and -i 2 crashed.

Any chance we will see the linux miner updated in the future? I know it's not getting updated now as stated in the first post, but is it discontinued completely?

Now pulling 480 sol/s on that single rig Cheesy
