I think it would be best to both parties and to all miners if this would just be for free. Without the dev fees.
Please remove the dev fees in your zcash miner @Claymore. Just let it be for the public and all of us miners will appreciate you more and I think @mrb would have no objection to that.

Please remove the dev fees. Just this once.
Thank you.

Huh?!??!??!?
There is no logic in what you want !!
By going to the store if you donate bread or have to buy it?
Developers also need to eat!  Wink

I understand where you are coming from but there is already animosity in the air. If the miner released by @claymore is open-sourced there would be no drama. As you know the issue is, the source of the code is open and created by another good developer, used by claymore as admitted by himself, enforced small % as dev fees without acknowledgement of the source. This is just one way to settle the infringement and there can be many others.

To answer your store question: Find money to buy food to eat, but have it the right way. There can be ways other than enforcing dev fee on this one.

One question will ask you to finish comments!
You do not know use foreign software, which is the work of someone to make money from it !!!! Why do it then? Do not use it.
Have you heard of the Copyright Law ....?!?!?
This is where I does not matter, but you think you have entirely mistaken thinking.

Huh!? I certainly did not understand your comment.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Is anyone seeing better speeds with Catalyst (Crimson) 15.12? I have the latest crimson, speeds are ok but are they better for 470 / 480 cards?

Come on genoil is crap for cpu usage.  Everyone knows it.  Only way I could get genoil to load at decent speed was to to click away from the windows once opened and then click back on it pulling focus away from it would kick it along.  At some point we will all have used someone previous work. who here thinks anything we do is original?  It's always based off prior people's work.  If you think the Wright brother invented flight your dead wrong.  Many came before that lead up to the Wright brothers taking flight.  All works are a progression from others past work.  To be able to copywright something as your original idea is disengenous at best. Fraudulent if you ask me.  At some point we just have to do for what's better for us all. Not bicker over the little shit.  It's like people thinking satoshi created Bitcoin. Well no. He took many others ideas and mashed them Together. Had they not come before him this would have never happened.  Do they get any credit? Never. Credit never goes to those that laid the road for you to get to where your going.  at some point everything will be open sourced. But sadly until that happens and we have the monetary system looming over us we will have the threats of being sued and blah blah blah.  We really have pinned ourselves into the corner on this one.

Anyway thanks for the great effort claymore.  No one else was going to release a stable miner until the they mined out the coin.  I'm glad you put pressure on the cloud ops and their returns.  But I'm sure they are butthurt about it.   Bragging about their super fast miners and now we are equal.  They don't like not being over the public. It's that power ego thing they have to stroke!

Best Regards
d57heinz

my case using zcashclient silent army to claymore zcash miner

280x from 25 to 45 sols
rx480 from 35 to 45 sols
r9 390 from 27 to 50 sols
290x from 30 to 50 sols
amd fury from 40 to 50 sols

is using this miner with 2.5% fee enticing enough for my case? i say yes..

it is still a challenge for the open source community to make zcash mining stable and optimized, specially for windows users..that day will come, but for now claymore is doing something others don't, and making money in the process.

i hope this issue right now gets sorted out.

Check what memory types they have, that's one thing that could make a difference, if it's higher quality Smiley

- No one is complaining about 20% fee of zcash develop company.  On every block.  You see, because of them, we make some fast profit..

- No one is complaining (or see something suspicious) about the UNLOCKED wallet  (error: {"code":-16,"message":"Error: wallet encryption is disabled."}).  Eight (Cool years of cryptocurrency programming experience, and we end up with unencrypted wallets...  Such privacy!

Many are complaining about the 2.5% profit, like this one in not making profit for them!

Very nice.

480 does 50+ with the silentarmy kernel modded by nerdralph!!
I even posted a screenshot of this! Yes, modded rom, but the same gpu's only hit 47 max! with your precious claymore miner...

Btw, it even does 50 on a 390 nitro!

Without fee! Open source!

Stability? Kidding me? Been running for 24hrs straight. 2cards, average at the pool 115 Sol.. yeah..

Remote manager, sure, if you like to manually enter all of your rigs in a manager. Great if you have 10 rigs, not if you have 200..

Support old cards, of course it does.. it's even faster on those. my 380 does 38-40 sol with nerdralphs mod ..

I'm mainly referring to the Linux users here..

But yes, you have a point. There is no stable windows release yet.

Let me personally try to change that this week.

Getting 31-35 hashes with MSI RX470 4 gb.

Has anyone succesfully clocked these 470 4gbs to hash more? I think the stock clock hashing very low.
