Spend a lot of time trying to configure my 200-x cards to stable work on 12.4. 12.4 is very sensitive to OC or UC... Nearly stable on stock clocks. Returning to 12.2. - it's more stable on OC or UC cards. And give a little more speed with OC than 12.4 on stock.
Claymore, please make 12.5 more stable for OC cards at least like 12.2 with speed of 12.4.

10 x 6 x R9 290 with 12.4 - running over 150hrs without a roblem. UC and UV - about 2k sol/s with 1350w at the wall. With 1800w I can get 2,5k sol/s - but the hot is.... like hell.

hello,
one question about mining zcash. i alredy have 2 rigs (sapphires 470 and 480 8gb) and i am mining mostly ehereum.
i will like to build one mlre rig, more specialist for zcash. i will like to know what do i need to look on gpus? for ethereum i was looking more on memory, how is here. do i need to buy 8gb or i can get 4 gb for the same hashing power? i know that nvidia is better, but it is also more expensive.
any advice very welcome. thanks.
For Zcash the "best" option would be GTX 1070s.... if your budget permits buying the more expensive hardware at the start. If you check out nicehash.com profit calculator and use their hashrate for Equihash, Lbry, and LyraRev2 algorithms on the whattomine.com calculator you will see that their are several coins that do very well with NVIDIA right now. ZEC, VTC, MONA, and Lbry are coins that come to mind atm, there may be others that I can't think of off the top of my head. I have one r9 270 and three r9280x GPUs now. I'M planning to sell them one by one and replace them with nvidia gtx 1070. Does AMD and NVidia cards work together in the same rig?

I don't think they currently work together using Claymore for mining ZEC. I believe it is supposed to be possible to mine ETH with Claymore's ETH miner using AMD and Nvidia together, but I have never tried it. I recently sold some AMD cards and bought Nvidia and they are great at mining ZEC with EWBF's miner - but that is CUDA (Nvidia) only I think.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL
I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Guys, windows detected rundas.b in this miner last friday. Anyone else have this problem?
all my miners are under a "_miners" folder. add that to your av exclusion list. i also added my "downloads" folder to that list.

NOt in the near future. Actually Claymore is planning to release another version to add coin/pool switching on-the-fly. Dunno when, but he confirmed it. He will probably be doing this for all his miners.

I ran a GTX 670 and R9 380 for awhile until the DAG got too big for the 670.

Currently I'm working on new version of dual miner, so don't expect new version of ZEC miner within several days.

I'm thinking of buying two vega rigs or two gtx 1080 rigs
1080gtx is good for efficency if you pay for electricity Hope that vega will get at least 600 sols for 150W max.
