HI I managed to fix it by plugging in an additional screen.
Thank you for the advise!!!!
I'm getting a combined hashrate of 33.6 H/s on Eth classic, joined the nanopool.
Is this a good hashrate for the R9 280x and RX570 combined? Using Claymore's miner.
that is strange, on my ring it s actually the opposite, the gpu with screen plug hash slower 33 for 2 gpu is actualy very low (don't know hastrate of 280's but should be 20+? same for 570 and 27-28 if you have a moded bios so you should have at lease 41-42 with stock clocks AN R9 280X AND AN RX 570 WILL NOT RUN ON THE SAME DRIVERS-- This sounds like a troll-bait question. Anyway, the R9 280X needs FGLRX drivers, and the RX 570 needs AMDGPU-PRO drivers. Tell me if I am wrong, please. --scryptr

Hi
It's strange because I'm running the R9 280x and RX 570 in the same pc, I had a monitor plugged in on the performing Gpu will the other Gpu was underperformin. I tried for days to fix it and decided to plug another monitor in on the under performing Gpu and that fixed my problem. Took the monitor out afterwards and both GPU's are performing well now.
Thanks for everyone's help.

Did you restart the computer afterwards?

Hi,
yes I did, though I was going have to do the dummy plug thing again but it wasn't necessary.

Vega is going to be just like a Fury, only it might use less power and have more hash. But how much who knows, so far the workstation edition is a let down. The gaming edition is coming out soon, so we shall see. There was so much hype of VEGA people forgot to check reality

Would any of these old cards work? - HD 5770 1GB GDDR 5 , memory clock of 2400MHz
- R7750 Core 2GB GDDR3 memory clock of 1300 MHz
Thanks in advance!

I'am new to zcash mining.
I've got 325 Mh/s / Sol/s with one R9 290 and less power consumption compared to ETH Mining. Good?

That is reasonable hash rate for 290.

When I try to solo mine to coinotron stratum port the miner tells me I did not specify a pool, while it works well with the same settings wehn dual mining. In the readme it says something like I need to add "http://" to the pool address when solo mining. Did I get it right that ETH solo mining is only possible over http connection and not stratum proxy? Or did I just miss another option? Regards

YOU ARE IN THE WRONG THREAD-- This thread has "Claymore's ZCash Miner" as the topic. Further, "solo mining" is done with a miner and a wallet, not a pool. --scryptr

You can solo mine with Claymore miner.
YES, YOU CAN SOLO MINE WITH CLAYMORE'S SEVERAL DIFFERENT MINERS-- But, the term "solo mining" is properly used when mining with a wallet, not mining on a pool. It is possible to set up Claymore's dual miner to mine on an Ethereum-based wallet, and mine Decred (or other secondary coin) on a pool at the same time. But when you are using Claymore's dual miner to mine a single Ethereum-based coin at a pool, it is better termed "single mining". So many new miners have misused the term "solo mining", and this in turn confuses other newer miners. Furthermore, this thread is about Claymore's ZCash miner, and not about his dual miner. Equihash (ZEC, etc.) algorithm won't mine DaggerHashimoto coins. I am also aware that certain special pools have been set up to reward only the block finder with the entire block, minus a fee. What a waste! --scryptr
