Thanks for sharing your experience... more and more I am not sure, if I should send them BTC... In case if i will ever get the Payment Infos

Yeah I'm not sure now, I just heard positiv feedback about them in the forum, but I never expected a mess like this with a simple order.

I think soon the things will get better. After all, there is NO COMPANY IN THE WORLD that likes disappointed customers. They definitely will take some measures to improve the customer service.

I am also waiting to receive the BTC addres, but I understand the bad situation they are into.
I've made order(#75834) of 2 miners + 1 controller on 13.08, when they still had everything in stock. I opened a ticket to receive the BTC address and while waiting to receive it they run out of stock. They asked me if I am still interested in buying and do I want to be informed when the new batch is availabel, so I could "preorder" before the main sell starts. I asked that I'm still interested and asked my order to be updated to 4 miners + 1 controller. My order was updated just like I wanted. And on 25.08(friday afternoon in my country) I finally received the BTC payment address, that was valid just for 2 days.

BUT, I had no bitcoins available, because the bitcoin price was changing so fast and I could lose a lot of money. I had account in bitcoin exchange, but there was no way I could make a bank wire transfer to the exchange site the same day. I've ordered it, but it was confirmed the late afternoon in this monday - 28.08, when the BTC payment address was already not valid Grin So now I'm just waiting with the guys from the last batch orders for updated BTC payment address.

But there is something more important I wanted to mention. If my order from the middle of the month is with number about 75000 and the last orders from the new batch are with numbers about 91000, this means that for 15 days thay had more than 15 000 orders. This is like more than 1000 orders every single day. And we have only Lily and Jasmine to deal with them, and Steve for the more complicated cases. So let's be a bit more patient!

I'm sure alot of people are like me that have duplicate orders outside of our main ones like mine but can't cancel the other orders since the holds that we're placed.

So we are clogging up the list with unneeded information.

But my BTC clears in 13 hours so either way depending on their work schedule we may not hear anything for days if they have the weekends off to be with their families (although some people won't care and would say they should work)

I'll personally be happy as long as I hear something by Wednesday their time.

Yay, mine's also made it to Memphis. Given the holiday, seems like delivery will be Tuesday Sad

I take it that using FedEx International Economy for a package is rather like a person flying standby. Cheap *if* space is available on flights otherwise the package gets to hang around the airport for a while... In this case 2 days in Taiwan, 2 days in Japan.


I ordered some circuit boards from China for a side robot project I'm doing at home and the first board will finally arrive after 27 days Cheesy but hey, free shipping lol

the problem is that all these asic companies are bad when it comes to handling payment and logistics. This problem was solved 20 years ago but they do everything manually, there is no automatic payment-to-shipping process. I cancelled my Canaan order few weeks ago and ordered with Ebang. I ordered  August 16 and my miners will arrive September 6th. The biggest delays are internally with these companies, they have zero automated processes. Shipping itself is 5 days with Fedex from China to EU. 15 other days is because of all the manual work they have to do. The whole order - payment - verification - getting ready for shipment can be automated. All you need to do is pick from your stock and send it out for delivery.

I noticed they added bulk orders to their store - you can order a 60 pack (or a pallet, which is the same quantity but a higher price?!), but not a single miner.

I got an order in early as the sales started again without problems.

I am order number #89842 and replied with a ticket to pay in btc.

Anyone around 89842 got wallet address to pay to yet?

I guess this is going to take them some time, must be rushed off of their feet with orders!

Saw that earlier I think it's to ease the larger order people so they get their own pallet ordered just for them
And your math is flawed, it's cheaper. 43,000 for 60 units is something like 716 each unit

The pallet has power and controllers

So tell us the reason, please..

For me it looks like they are extremely overwhelmed with the situation and we only accept this, because no other seller is available right now.. i just hope Bitmain will sell its S9 soon

I also get grey hair, if I think about the future waiting time..

To get the Payment Information ist not the only Problem i guess..

I wish you all good luck, but I think we really need an other seller, SOON...

I would not be complaining as much if they gave me the promised discount of 50 for shipping.
But the intentional passing of my order  to fill a bigger order thus causing the 14 dal delay then the lie about an extra free shipping discount.
And now the FedEx shipping delay.  Is a pretty good fuckup.


The shipping delay  is a Fedex issue  due to Hurricane Harvey.

The gear is now in TENNESSEE

So phil  your time line is an August 6th  order for 714+50 to ship = 764

you got the order in under the price rise  to 794 free shipping deal.

The blew you off to fill larger orders by Steve's Mosher post not yours.

Lily's email that you would get free shipping  as per Steve's suggestion.

That would drop you to 714.  They charged you 774 in btc which you paid on the 20th.

They did not ship until the 26th  and now the Hurricane  has caused a delay until tues the 5th.

so 30 days from order placed until it arrived.

16 days from order paid until it arrvied.

a promised discount  that would drop you down to 714  from 764  was not given  you were charged 774.


Your ordered again after all that?

So your August 31 st order is what staus?

I'm 89356 and i have not received a payment addy yet, but thats ok. As long as they get one to me within a week i'll be alright. Their products are so much higher quality than BITMAIN... i'll wait patiently.

I wouldnt doubt it. They have alot of stock, the issue was not available product. The issue according to Steve from Canaan is that they did not have enough product stocked in their consumer warehouse in HK. Their main commercial warehouse is in beijing if i am not mistaken. Hopefully they have worked out the availability issue.

I suspect there is out of 3000 orders place of which of 1200 are legit. Even I have duplicates I can't cancel yet
I think they have around 600-1000 available

Just personal guessing
