Hello,

Poloniex introduced CAPTCHA verification and the gunbot stopped working! Please transfer to another Bitrex exchange!

Thank you!

gunbot has nothing to do with captcha ...

its completely api driven - so if there is an issue - then its an issue poloniex have introduced ...

how can catptcha interfere with the api? ...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi

I'm interested to buy a license from gunbot, but first I'd like to be sure that is still working, so please anyone can confirm?

An interesting feature could be that the bot can connect to more exchanges, not only Poloniex, it will be implented in the near future?

Thank you

The bot offers currently 3 exchanges. Not sure if more will come.

The bot is working. How good depends on your settings. After a longer break I turned it on again and it made some profits again.

I only see Poloniex support, which other 2 exchanges are we talking about?

I post here as with the forum limits of 1 msg every 360s cannot answer all msg received.
Thank you to all resellers that send me PM with their info (specially useful the msg from noired). I have deal with the first who contacted  (Captain Corporate), so license theme for me is solved, no need for more offers, thanks.

A recomendation for resellers not to be confused with scammers should be all be identified by a signature or logo, as simply sending money to someone who says is a legit reseller is very risky in this crypto world.

As soon as I have the gunbot running I hope to have some feedback to report (here or in the gunthy forums).

best regards

Hi guys, I've been using the bot for 2 days. Because btc is up, alt coins are down, I'm holding some bags, like ETH, ETC,...
Should I get rid of them? Should I stop the bot on those pairs? Technically the value of my bags are rising compared to usdt.

Hi!

I'm new to GUNBOT and interested in buying it! Waiting on my BTC to come through in about a week to purchase but any tips/suggestions to get started? I already looked through and see what people are using but I'm curious about more settings and whatnot that people are finding success with.

Thanks!

That is the $million$ dollar question.  I have had bags and sold them at a loss.  But I don't know if that was the right thing to do because doing that will definitely make you lose money.  On the other hand I wish I had sold them earlier, that way I would have only lost 10% rather than 40% because prices kept on going down for weeks.

My current thinking is that if market is consistently going down on a pair, then stop the bot trading on that pair and sell out, when things stabilize then start the bot.  But that's just one strategy.  Another one is to keep the pair and bot running until market returns a profit on that pair - but who knows when that will be, weeks, months, years who knows.

It's a dilemma.  That's why good trading experience is recommended before running this bot, unfortunately you and I are probably not experienced enough.  Sorry, no easy answers.

good luck

There is another solution to this problem and it is implemented in the coming soon release: averaging cost (as usual i invite you all to test it manually beofre to launch it with the bot).

Basically all your bags can be sold at profit with a little trick: soon as the coin price drops (specifically the bot watches for High BB value dropping below "bought price"), the bot buys again. The result is an averaged bought price which is now between Bollinger Bands again. In this situation it is easy to sell the entire "bag" at i.e. 0.6% of profit (higher than fees, just to get rid of it quickly).

Here are a couple of pictures attempting to explain this concept in a visual form: with this strategy implemented we have solved an ancient issue of Gunbot, "da bags" Wink

Specifically talking about ETH I don't mind holding them ( as I believe it's a great altcoin ). So sometimes this happen to me I just move the ETH from trading balance to margin or lending (just to hide it from the bot so it can keep trading). This works with polo only.

This is a great feature, looking forward.

I understand, you can buy at lower point to average out an overall profit. But does GunBot do this?  I thought it just held on to bag until price went above original buy price.  Or are you talking about a future release will have this feature?

He is talking about an upcoming feature which will be included in the next update.
And the release candidate is available this sunday?

Hi, i have a question about the exchanges like Bittrex, Poloniex etc..

When i place an order and after that i cancel it, will i get back the 0.25% fee of the exchange automaticaly? Will the fee get taken from my money even if the order is not completed?

Thank you!

You only pay fees on successful transactions, you wont pay any fees on buy/sell orders which arent completed

Hi, i have a PC with the following configuration:

Processor: Intel i5 750
RAM: 8 Gb DDR3
I have Windows 7 (64 bit) installed on it.

Do you recommend that i install GunBot on this PC and let it run NON-STOP?
How many instances do you think this PC can run?
Or should i buy VPS?

I have a dynamic IP, is that a problem for Bittrex API?

Thank you!
