Hi, can I mine with GG some forks of ETH or only ETH is supported? And GG it's for both AMD & NVIDIA cards?
Somebody reported in this thread it's possible. Probably not every ETH fork can be mine by GG, trying ti mine some fork with gtx1060 and getting an error [16:17:33] Probing for an alive pool [16:17:34] Startup GPU initialization... Using settings from pool 213.154.202.174. Well, I need to know, at the very least, which coin you were trying to mine and which pool you were trying to connect.

The problem is not with GG but with stratum server different pools are using.

Maybe, but ethminer have no problems with stratum server of different pools.

also it could be the same reason why claymore doesnt work with your dbix coin (ethash), only after the blockchain reached height #30000.

Oh well, I will get to that when I have a chance. The Ethash kernel is a tad faster now. I will push the change to the repo soon. These Ethash kernels are so weird... Seemingly innocuous changes cause hardware errors for no obvious reasons. It is so refreshing to work on a different kernel after tackling with Equihash for so long, though.

What is the situation with Equihash? You can increase speed close to Claymore miner results? Whan we can test it?

You have to download the source from github and extract the binary-kernel, and Kernel folders to GG pre4 folder then I use the settings provided by OP. You should be able to get 28 - 29.
Note: I have been tweaking my cards bioses for quite some time now to achieve the speeds I have. I have been monitoring the timings thread to learn and nerdralph has a tool that got me a 1MH boost to my old mem shift timings. (I don't share my bioses as I believe everyone can take the time to learn if they want more.)

With newer kernel HW error rate has increased a bit, Using your asm binary kernel reports 29.5 stable with less hw errors. When I delete bins and ethash-new.cl generates binary kernel rate reaches 30.1 but with about 3.66 hw errors per minute average, last one was with 2.33 average.

i just uploaded a new pre-release with Ethash assembly kernels for all GCN1/GCN3 devices, including Fury, Fury X, and Nano: https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate/releases/tag/v0.1.3-pre5The default settings in .bat/.sh files are improved as well. As always, I really appreciate your donations and feedback. Enjoy!
