How Import private key?
Mooncoin QT only using the official ‘importprivkey’ function.
 Decrypting your Mooncoin Paper Wallets
If you have encrypted your paper wallets you will need to decrypt them.
 - Go to www.walletgeneretor.com
 - Download the zip file
 - Load the offline page
- Click on Tab named ‘Wallet Details’
- Enter your private key, click view details
- Enter your BIP38 passphrase, click ‘Decrypt BIP38’
- Copy your encrypted private key which will appear below

Importing the decrypted key to Mooncoin QT
Backup your Mooncoin QT Wallet – Before you do anything, make a backup of your Mooncoin QT wallet.
Launch Mooncoin QT: Launch your Mooncoin-QT client in Offline Mode. This is more secure to import private keys. When the Mooncoin QT client is up, go to Help >> Debug window from the menu bar and then click on “Console ”.
Unlock your QT wallet if you encrypted it: If your wallet is encrypted you will need to unlock it first. If your Mooncoin QT wallet is not encrypted, just skip this step. To unlock your wallet, run the following command without quotes, where 600 stands for the seconds your wallet is unlocked.
 wallet passphrase MYPASSWORD 600

Import the private key: Now import your private key using following command without quotes
Importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ‘label’ (if used label)
Be Patient: Now just wait…three to six minutes while your private key is being imported to Mooncoin QT. Its possible Mooncoin QT may freeze up, if so just leave it 15 minutes and close it. Load Mooncoin QT up and you should see your newly imported address in the address book.

Nice writeup! I meant to get one done as this is asked often in Discord as well; do you mind if I post this in our FAQ's? I'll credit you. :-)

The good news is: BTC looks great,
tomorrow another coin BCC (Bitcoin Cash) will appear, currently the market estimates its price about $280-$300,
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash

if you hold BTCs at your wallets (and you are in control of private keys) you'll get BCC for free.
That means that tomorrow the Bitcoin price may correct (about $280-$300 down) to exclude the price of BCC,
but BTC really looks quite strong now (despite of bad news about btc-e and all concerns about the fork),
and perhaps Altcoins will show some progress, too, maybe in September-October.
Really good news, not for pessimists though who dumped BTC at $1850,
and what about MOON pessimists?
Cryptocurrencies favor optimists.

The correct website name for paper wallets generator is https://walletgenerator.net.

How to use Mooncoin paper wallets in a simple and secure way:

There is an idea to drive all fees from one Mooncoin project to 2 Mooncoin Community funds,
but transparent voting and protection against fake votes is needed to decide how to use funds in the future.

Why do you think poll-maker.com is not secure?

Hi to every one here!
I'd like to know where the link for the latest bootstrap?
It seems the bootstrap from page 1 doesn't work.
Do we have a new bootstrap for mooncoin qt wallet, the most recent one?
Please share the link. Thank you.

There are 2 links to bootstraps on the first page.
Which one doesn't work?

Did you set options to prevent fake voting for this poll at poll-maker.com settings before testing it?

I think it would be great if the Moon Express craft had a mooncoin sticker on the side of it, when or if, it lands on the Moon at the end of this year.

https://phys.org/news/2017-07-florida-startup-boldly-sights-moon.html

With or without the Mooncoin sticker, the MoonExpress is a very interesting project.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Express

From their official website:

"RESOURCES FOR HUMANITY Like the Earth, the Moon has been enriched with vast resources through billions of years of asteroid bombardment. Unlike the Earth, these resources are largely on or near the lunar surface, relatively accessible. We are blazing a trail to the Moon to seek and harvest these resources to support a new space renaissance, where economic trade between countries will eventually become trade between worlds".

Maybe someone could find them in social networks (e.g. on Twitter) and could someone get in touch with them?
They could record the results of their researches onto the Mooncoin blockchain (with the MoonWord programming language) for free and without 3rd parties, in a simple way. Other blockchain recording projects don't allow that.

Board to set strategic direction for Mooncoin.

Proposed duties:
To decide how to spend the funds from the upcoming crowdfund(s), for example new devs, additional exchange integration.
Decide dramatic changes to code, for example scrypt to lyra2m etc - board must include lead dev.
Decide aesthetic changes, i.e maintaining quality control, new logo, website,

Act as reps for the ecosystem, talking to media (the blockchain being used to reward young people for doing well at school will definitely get mainstream news attention), giving investors confidence, securing deals and partnerships with the many non-crypto like-minded organisations.

To engage with the bigger community we are about to welcome, and to make decisions in hours not days/weeks - mooncoin has already been copied by the ACT ico.

Vote yes for progress.

Vote no to remain as it is.

 http://www.poll-maker.com/poll1133901xb5434115-47

Poll will end in 24 hours.
