So how does this stand against Nicehash, does it offer better hashrate in Ethereum ? I would love to try only if it offers better hashrate, I have a home PC with only 3 Nvidias running on it, all Nvidias 10 series.

i have Enabled Alexis78 for all supported Algos.... im not sure where your quoting "recommended to be used with 3+ GPUs?" from ? ? ?

From the first post of this thread Smiley

NemosMiner-v1.7.6-Zpool

https://github.com/nemosminer/NemosMiner-v1.7.6-Zpool/releases/download/NemosMinerv1.7.6/NemosMiner-v1.7.6-ZPOOL.zip
uses Alexis78ccminer fastest for most algo's for Pascal Cards but doesn't play nice with 6cards..  best for  (1-3 card rigs)

That confused me.
How come Alexis when used with 1.7.6 does not play nice with 6 cards and 2.0.8 with Alexis does play nice?
I am just trying to understand the theory behind all these algo shenanigans.

1.7.6 uses mainly only Alexis78(Known to have Issues with more than 4 Cards), where 2.0.8 use's all versions of ccminer, so if you have more than 4 cards, and it has a Issue with Alexis78, it will use a different ccminer instead of Alexis78..

Best Regards
Nemo

Nemo, how have you set the intensity levels across algos? I'm wondering whether too high intensity might be the cause of my many crashes and reboots. Have you personally tested your software on "regular" 1080's? Maybe the base settings are just too harsh, I dunno...

Anyone having issues with Alexis not starting all cards I'd try using --cuda-schedule

hey.
how --cuda-schedule works? what parameters are here and what the result? in short...

its integers (cuda constants) 0 1 2 ..
are they related to

      0 -  spin
      1 - yield
      2 - sync  ?

something like that, i dont use it
well. i didn't too but with alexis miner+skein it's an essential.miner didn't start properly all cards time after time when --cuda-schedule 'auto' chooses 'sync'. 'spin' is working fine!yay!=)

does work but not for long periods of time and doesn't work  well with OC and UV'ing it basically runs all gpus's at 100% power draw even if you have software running the power target it still runs at 100% i use a watt meter at wall thats how i know.....  so yes --cuda-schedule works  but not properly from my experience... i have experimented a few times with  --cuda-schedule (to try and fix Alexis78) but it was not worth it....

your recommendation is to not throw hashrate at coins?

isn't that exactly what kills coins in quite the same respects?
