[NemosMiner] multi algo profit switching NVIDIA/CPU miner

Does anyone else experience Windows 10 freezing when using NEMOSMINER on zpool multi algo? Sometimes it takes few hours to freeze, sometimes 10-15 minutes.


 Im using 8 1070s. Im not sure why. I get freezing and I also get CC miner has stopped working errors. Its frustrating because im trying everything and cant find a solution. Ive also tried putting GPUS on default with no overclock. Please help if you can!

Yeah same here. The thing will crash my rig several times a day, some times critically (i.e. Won't reboot). I think the more GPUs you have the higher the likelihood that your rig will crash. I have some theories (unstable switching, high intensities, miners failing to initialise cards quickly enough etc) but nothing I've been able to fix unfortunately.

Could you also check out this new "Watchdog Timer" feature  aaronsace added to his miner?
I have no idea what it is and am too lazy to try it out myself

Also, regarding the "update interval": I am still unsure if 300 is too low or too high.
What are you using? Or still no consensus on that issue?

because neoscrypt likes mem oc... Yes i have tried with out mem oc..... its slower...  i run +500mem on all my cards... core varies from = +10core on my 1060's to +100core on my 1070's my 1080ti's are running  +50core +500mem

Thanks for the neoscrypt clarification.
But how come your 1060s are +10 core overclock?
Mine are all stable at +120 with PL set to 90W (75%).

yip ill look into it.

 recommend -interval=  default -120 (you can increase for 1st run/benchmarks to get more accurate speeds) then change back to default..

 as for the 1060's i have them running @ 60tdp so there core clocks don't go to high anyway could leave them at +0core wouldn't make any difference

it may be something to do with the 8cards.. i have only tested with up to 6gpu's as thats the biggest rigs i have...
 
im testing current updated v2.2 on 6 different rigs 2 of which are 1060 x 6card im not getting any crashes or freezing..

1.change BTC address to yours

2.select how many gpu's you have eg: (1gpu ewbf 0 cc 0) (default 2 gpu ewbf 0 1 cc 0,1) (6gpu ewbf 0 1 2 3 4 5 cc 0,1,2,3,4,5)

3.remove any algos you do not want to mine (default all supported algos enabled)

4.there is a default 5minute per day fee, that can be disabled by changing -Doante 5 to 0

5.run start.bat

CCMiner may need 'MSVCR120.dll' if you don't already have it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=40784

running multiple cards its recommended to increase Virtual Memory 32gb-64gb is optimal

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but my NEMO miner will get stuck on one algo indefinitely unless I re-start it. I have 40+ machines so that is a pain...

So I downloaded a program called "Batch Run" and made a script that does the following:

Kill powershell.exe
Kill ccminer.exe
Kill ccminer_x86.exe
Kill Zminer.exe
5-Second Delay
RUN start.bat

So this kills the NEMO program & any miners (sometimes the miner won't close w/ the program) then starts it again.

I then opened Windows Task Scheduler and set it up to run this script every hour -- I also had to create a second standard .bat file to run the .brs script from the Batch Run program as task scheduler won't run the .brs file for whatever reason.

Not sure if it is just me... but figured I'd share with anyone else who has their NEMO hang up on one algo indefinitely.

my test rigs have been running for days now with no issues..  all tho all my rigs have a Auto restart scheduled once every 24hours (not needed but just something i have always done) my rigs shut down and restart.. every day just after midnight

I have version 2.2 running -- it is not the same algo or miner. I haven't been able to really find a pattern for it.

Sometimes it'll be the first algo that runs that sticks... or maybe the 10th.

Basically from what I can see the profit data stops updating so it stays with the out-dated most profitable algo.

PS : I do love the software, though, thanks for making it!

ResetProfit.bat does not fix it.

I will try the newest revision of 2.2

I will having workers sitting on an algo for days that is clearly extremely low on profit when it sticks -- unless I restart the program.

Your screencap is interesting.  At the top, it mentions the price of Bitcoin in terms of NZD.  Mine just says 1BTC = 1.00000000 BTC.
Also present is something mine has, an insane amount of days recorded for some of the algorithms.  In addition, mine count down from there as opposed to incrementing.  What is causing this?

Anyway, mine (single GPU) doesn't have the freezing issues the others have.  Looking forward to having increased stats for nicehash I think I read somewhere.

it shows the current BTC price was added in 2.2 (in the same currency as you set as perday income)

(edit: start.bat change -Currency USD)
you can display your income perday in any currency ie: USD,GBP,NZD,AUD properly more those are the ones i've tested and know work...  

i know about that insane amount of days bug.. i'll fix it soon (doesn't effect mining just display error)

1. right mouse click on start.bat create a shortcut on desktop

2.right mouse click on the shortcut on the desktop - copy

3.open start menu  / windows system / open run / type:   shell:startup (will open startup folder)

4.paste the copy of the shortcut from step 2. in the startup folder

I haven't had a PowerShell admin problem, by using task scheduler.

Just created the task to the main .bat file and set up the account to auto login.
It also fires up my overclocking and CPUMiner at the same time, just for kicks.

P.S. Congrats Nemos, whatever you did, I sware my BTC per day is double from when I was running Awesome Miner.

No difference in cryptonight hashrates with this update on gtx1060 cards compared to 2.01 version.  Also in my case Alexis is still the fastest for neoscrypt algorithm on 1060 3gb.
