It will take at least 1 month to retarget at this rate. But I suspect rate will decrease... so maybe 2-3 months is reasonable. Very sad. :-(

Well, at least the target has been finally stopped at 21 days.
Now it only needs a little push the other way.

Guys/gals, I think it's safe to say you can ignore the stats pages. There's a hard fork coming that will change the retarget time considerably.
Head to the official forums @ forums.feathercoin.com for more info.

The entire FTC p2pool network hasn't found a block in over 12hours, suire there is only 24.5MH/s atm but you would think they would have found a block in that time!

At 24.5MHs you are expected to find a block every 9 hours at the current difficulty. Thats obviously not including variance - it could take half that or twice that (or more) depending on nothing more than luck. A week(ish) ago i solo mined LTC (when it was $4+) and got 3 blocks in 9 hours then nothing for 2 days - it's just the way the cookie crumbles. The more hash power though, the quicker that variance averages out so everyone knows what to do!

Still got FTC running on my pool, what are you guys doing to stop FC2?
|
Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

Why would you try and stop it? It's open source after all. There is no compatibility with the real FTC.

FC2 is apparently valued by certain people. They are free to mine and trade FC2. Let them.
