Some "big players" joined the game...the times you received 100 FT per day for CPU-mining are already over....

that's also because the difficulty increases big time Smiley and it'll keep increasing big time

this is rather a sign of the popularity of the coin, not necessarily big players joining Smiley

Relying on my rusty CPU and a couple of giveaways; I have collected a few coins. Will buy that Porsche once the value becomes 1000 USd each  Cool

keep up the good work!!

PS: Noob question - is it significantly faster than Litecoin?

I'm not having much luck with the pools.

Seems connecting is very erratic, and then I'm getting rejected errors, and I've even rebooted to ensure it's not something to do with the miner.

It wont connect and then it does, but fails.

hrmm... is the server capable of holding this much info or is it flaking out??

Seems to be happening to pretty much any server with any currency on it, probably DDoS or something else.

BBQcoin server is throwing me out every 2 min aswell, reconnects, 2 min later, again,...

could be the miner too tho but it happens with cudaminer, guiminer, minerd,.... Smiley

Hmm, I keep seeing

Pool 0 communication failure, caching submissions

in my cgminer window, for http://fpool1.zapto.org:28339 ?

Seems to have just started appearing within the last 30 mins or so..

is that normal? I am seeing with this : Pool 0 share became stale while retrying submit, discarding

 Huh Huh

Yea there seems to be issues now... it was smooth a few hours ago.. rough now.. i get the same thing.

Running smoothly again

I have a lot of stale (30%) and I keep seeing  Pool 0 stale share detected, submitting as user requested

Am I the only one ?

I switched to the pushpool version now. Seems good.

You can use the command below to make cgminer switch automatic between pushpool and p2pool. You can even add a third if needed

Quote
cgminer --scrypt -o http://fpool1.zapto.org:28339 -u username.1 -p x -o stratum+tcp://fpool1.zapto.org:19327 -u YourFcAddress -p x -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0 -I 13

Thanks but when I tried the other one yesterday it did not work.
Question abour your cgminer command: what's making it switch between both?

The pushpool version is giving me lots of connection errors the last 12 hours. The p2pool version seems ok for me.

Ahh yeah, I was hoping it wasn't something like that, I'm getting it with cgminer and minerd which were both flying earlier today. Now neither can connect, or if it does, invalid data kills it.

Hopefully they tire in time.. Sad
