Good morning Bitcoinland.

I missed a couple of days but I see things are about the same... currently $2658USD (Bitcoinaverage).

Last weeks little correction and then HF panic both seem to have been left in the past and the price is creeping back up again.

$2500 seems to be the new bottom as we edge closer to $2700 which was where the dust had settled before Bitmain made their announcement.

We're off to a good start toward a new green weekly candle. Go Bitcoin go.

Someone posted a chart that could possibly be interpreted as turning into a head-and-shoulders pattern if the price abruptly turned and continued downward. Instead the price seems to be rising.

A couple of panickers (or people who missed last week's buying opportunity) joined in.

I posted another chart which shows the opposite.

The point is that how you look at the charts is open to interpretation.

Don't sweat it.

edit: Morons indeed.

Could be a head and shoulders, unless it's not.

The price has been pretty gradually climbing over the past few days. Not a quick jump.

I see it as a struggle between this huge bull wave we have and all of the hodlers who got a glimpse of the huge 25% drop and started thinking about their exit strategies cashing out some of their coins. Certainly healthy as they will not likely panic sell later. The incoming investors are still flowing in.

A gradual climb to $3k would be better than a quick run up. Hitting just below $3k and dropping again would not be a good thing.

We've been going up about $50 per day which would put $3k around next week.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

It's not too late to buy back in, even if you have to take a small loss to do so.

It's better than being left behind as the uptrend continues.

We wait for the segwit hangover, 2 different codes signaling for it and still at fight.

The facepalms when they see it is 2 codes combined to signal segwit2x

Hangover lasts about 12hours.

That "huge" 25% drop was smaller than the 33% drop on May 25-27.

We'll see.

To me it's just the Jihan HF panic all over again.

If you sold based on TA I have nothing to say as I am not really into that shit.

But, if you did it based on fundamentals around the scaling issue. I think you are misreading current situation and prospects.

Anyway, as I always say, we need people to sell to keep growing in price in a healthy way (this is not inverse psichology, I REALLY meant it.)
