Hi everyone,

I want to ask something...

I am trying to understand And analyse the charts/price of bitcoin.
Sure i Did more research And watch all day the charts for my own.
Reading many topics for speculations what others also try to understand bitcoin.

But what i Dont understand is.. the price swings like now whats happening on (kraken).
We have a natural growth what Goes up, Ofcourse i understand also that this is bitcoin.
Many told me that this price going up And down like 1% - 15% on a price around €2400 is normal.
Yes Ofcourse its manupilation by big investers, But How is iT possible that iT can decline in 5 minutes
So much € if its growing natural in price.

Someone who can explain with details please beceause i want to understand And
Correct me if i am wrong Ofcourse i want to learn about bitcoin.

Thank you for aswering about what i said.

margins and volume

at the moment not enough want to sell below recent high and not enough want to buy above recent low(dump), what you end up with is big margins

so when someone wants to dump a lot they have to dump very low, when someone wants to buy alot they have to buy very high

hence the big swings, often occurs after a big drop bear comes in and dumps on the market

Business as usual in bitcoin land. If everything on the charts turned red then it's time to buy.

Last time r0ach was talking about a bearish head and shoulders bitcoin went from $1100 to $3000.

Nah, I said the chart looked bearish and then Scamfinex turned off withdrawals, forcing all sellers to become buyers while also squeezing every short in existence, which artifically pumped the market higher.  Then people saw that rise and thought the cup and handle pattern was in play and just kept pumping it higher.  It was pretty much the perfect storm of Finex manipulation that was not based on any type of fundamentals or news or anything.

It's much harder to repeat such pumps when the transaction fees are out of control though.  I imagined bitcoin growth would slow down tremendously once transaction fees got to around $2 and excess traffic would leave with Litecoin being the main beneficiary, so with current bitcoin fees spiking to the moon and some exchanges charging $7 transaction fees, that's what is happening.

As much as I share the happy sentiment that the "chikun has arisen" we should probably keep the topic on Bitcoin here. adamstgBit's will have to spend all day deleting posts if it gets more out of hand.  Cheesy

Adam got deleted a long time ago.

I noticed this recent down move started in China.

Are there any news from China? Will they allow or disable withdraws? Will PBOC ban BTC again?
Old news.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/china-bitcoin-exchanges-allowing-withdrawals-again-1496658845

They're allowing withdrawals now with tighter security precautions and limits.  Bitcoin trading in China is allowed, and I find it very unlikely that the PBOC would ever attempt to fully ban it.

I cannot wait when BTC will crash from $150000 to under $100000 and there will be bears everywhere crying bitcoin's dead.

(In 2015 everyone had predictions like $600 by 2020 and so on)

Any ideas why the exchanges are speculating a drop to 1723 in the short term? http://www.bitcoinforecast.com
Although this is not always correct, bitstamp nailed the most recent drop within a few bucks.

There could be some indicators of a correction, it's definitely possible that we aren't out of the danger zone yet. I somewhat agree with their long-term price speculation but I feel like it could go either way at this point.

Very short term, who knows.

Being around $2500 for most of this month is the best that could happen to consolidate this price range (2k-3k). Medium-Long term it mostly depends on how the scaling issue is handled: If they are finally able to solve scaling in a non-contentious way the price will moon way higher than anyone could predict, with a huge pump right after things are clear and a continuous rise until the end of year.

What a bunch of fucktards having an anti-trump disclaimer on their site.  The label has the typical "trump be raycist" statement, but all the word racist means nowadays is white people that refuse to be cuckolds for brown people.
