Maybe the price is staying in this range because most of the newcomers since December bought between 15-19k range. There's a big percentage waiting to break even and perhaps exit after realizing that they don't have the stomach for volatility. Whales may be teasing the price to an "acceptable Loss" range before an eventual retest of the ath. Who knows when that'll be but I suspect it'll be when nobody longer believes it can get there again. Rinse and repeat to new ath perhaps.

I wish I could go more than half a day without checking on price. And I don't even trade so it's of no consequence to me other than excitement of a pump or btfd.

Same here, I don’t trade. Just a long term HODLER, obviously nice to see the price go up though.
Also I can’t go a day without checking the price either, even when I’m on holiday I check it multiple times a day.

I’m currently waiting for the entire blockchain to sync on a new laptop so I can move my coins out of my current laptop & claim all the shitcoins (minus BCH, BTG & Bitcore, already had my wicked way with those).

Well there goes the future of money.

Don't panic . This is pure manipulation led by some bitstamp traders. They are walling up after each sell off and forcing the price down.

I managed to ignore the price for a while, back in 2015...  Smiley

P.S. Are we below 11k again? Always something's happening these days.

How are we supposed to not check the price when some of our & our families & their families long term futures are in this thing Cheesy

I think mid 2021 is when we’re going to be struggling not to sell a large % for HUGE profits.

We went up way too soon and way too fast. There needs to be some serious consolidation before we can even dream of going back up again.

Are we poor again?

It dropped to the MA 50, didn't yet break the upward trend out of 5800... but it's close to doing so according to my trend line it's around 10800. RealRoach? We're expecting a visit.

We just dropped through the Bollinger band so it's a good time to buy.

I think mid 2021 is when we’re going to be struggling not to sell a large % for HUGE profits.

I hit 50 in mid 2021, it's probably a good milestone to retire and start a new life. Selling 10-20% at that time would be easy, no struggles at all. But 3.5 years is a long time to wait. Meanwhile, life is hard, and I haven't traveled anywhere for 9 years.

Nothing we haven’t seen before, meanwhile we have the usual suspects popping up jacking off to a $200 - $300 drop.

Embarrassing.

Let’s save the suicide for another day guys - we’re only down about $500 in 24 hours.

Ultimately I agree with you, but let's look a bit more closely.  O.k.  Price dipped down from a high of less than 24 hours ago of $11,688 down to $10,835, so far, as I type this - which is about the price from 4 days ago.

So, really it took us 4 days to go up to $11,688, and then we are back down fairly quickly and then perhaps at a bottom here or maybe going to test lower.  My sell order at $11,700-ish was not triggered, so I was not able to buy any back at what would have been about $11k, instead my next buy order is at $10,700, and has not been triggered, yet, either.

So the punchline... still in limbo land, here, and admittedly a tiny bit painful (like a mosquito bite) when orders almost trigger, but don't.

In the end, we cannot necessarily rush these kinds of pricing matters, and just let the price come to our set orders, rather than jumping ahead or prematurely getting excited... Certainly suicide or any attempts at suicide should be considered a wee bit of an overreaction to this.
